Excellent. What's the highest league the Hamlet have been in in the last 10 years or so?
Is it 4 promotions until league football? |

Haven't seen Hamlet play in ages. Should really go when I can, as they are a 5 minute walk from my house.
Will try and see them midweek, providing Palace are not playing.

its probably about 10 years since relegation into ryman div 1(now ryman north/south ) ?
hopefully promoted into ryman prem in may ! then blue sq south blue sq conference league 2 ! seriously dulwich could/should be a ryman prem team and possibly blue sq south with some decent funding !

Ground always seemed fine for Conference South sort of level. Not sure above that though?

Yep, 2nd round quali coming up. Has the draw been made yet?
Should go more often too, as it's a 10 minute walk past some decent boozers (The Mont & Hoopers). |

The match reports are brilliant!
To view the link you have to Register or Login I've "followed" Hamlet since I was a kid looking for results in the Telegraph but the interweb has made it so much easier. I remember finding out about non-league football when i was about 8 or 9; my dad told me the colours i had used in my picture of a Palace player made him look like Dulwich Hamlet. (No claret in my felt pen set). Not only were Palace unfashionable amongst the Liverpool and Tottenham "supporting" glory hunters of deepest Sussex but Hamlet were unheard of. I was hooked!

I work not far from there but haven't managed to take in a game yet. Loved their old stadium before Sainsburys got hold of the land, such a ramshackle place but full of character. Saw a few Palace reserves and charity matches there in the 80s.

I still really like the stadium. Watched Palace there pre season standing with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

My Dad used to take me to see Dulwich Hamlet in the 1950s before I was a Palace fan.
I have a a vague memory that the crowds were quite big. That's all.

Do they have any midweek evening games forthcoming? I drive past there on my way home from work and might pop in if they have
