Which is a shame. The world would be a better place.

That could well come, though; it's not often a relatively successful club, with a decent infrastructure already in place, ready to kick on to the next level, has owners who don't seem all that interested in actually having anything to do with it. I can only imagine it would be a relative bargain for any aspiring Abramovich, inasmuch as they wouldn't have to put up that much of a fight to wrestle it from Liebherr's reluctant hands.

Sacked Jason Dodd and Paul Williams

In isolation, not a big deal - but change of manager and likely departures of star players it could be a gloomy outlook.
Let's hope so, as it seems Fat Sam is staying put and I suspect he will not allow another poor season from his players - ruthless transfer policy impending there. A few leadership calamities next season can only be good news for us.

Yep, looks like Pochettino is off to Spurs:

Foreign mercenary. What a surprise. Feel slightly sorry for Southampton.

He joined Southampton mainly because of Cortese who has now gone. Also it seems that their budget is being cut for next season and there's rumours that the owner wants out. Hardly makes him a mercenary.

BS. He's been there 5 mins and Southampton gave him his big chance here. He should stay with them at least for a couple of years. Depresses the hell out of me how this happens. It's sad to see clubs like Southampton, with their focus on youth development, being subjected to the vultures.
