Not the same as a thread of a similar naming. We knew Pulis was a total mercenary with no loyalty or history with us. As opposed to one who had a history of being a player with the club who was a total mercenary who broke his contract and who had an over inflated opinion of his own ability as a manager

I just cant see him going to West Ham, it would be a like for like replacement and considering they will be moving to a 60,000 stadium I think they will need more than "guaranteed PL football". I thought it would be QPR but that's very unlikely now so agree that Leicester or West Brom appear more likely, unless Stoke go on a bad run...

All we've ever been told is that he left the club by mutual consent.
Unfair thread in my opinion.

Why do you assume that would have been the case? I'm sure he could have worked within the rumoured £25-30m budget...

I just can't believe there wasn't a compromise that could have been reached. Let's be honest - Pulis was the best manager we've had in years. I don't think there has been a better, more suited manager for us since Coppell. Steve Bruce maybe, but he of course left too soon. All managers that have followed since have paled into insignificance. We should have backed his judgement more imo. He had earned that trust - the man's record speaks for itself. To turn what was a shambolic Palace team when he arrived into a side finishing 11th was nothing short of miraculous. We will miss him. But time to move on...

Also perhaps he didn't fancy having AJ the coach dumped on him, or surprisingly added to the 25, suppose you have to admire SP for finally getting his man. Sorry I mean NW, transfers are down to the manager aren't they, it was just a coincidence we went again for AJ. Perhaps one day we will find our what really went on if TP is allowed to comment. Wrong!! The best managers are loyal and love the club.........not themselves

I am loyal and love the club. These are just about the worst qualities for a manager.

Do we yet know the EXACT reason he left? Has Pulis said anything? I still think Parish has something to do it. Did he sell both our left backs without Pulis agreement? Did Parish insist on bringing back Wilf against Pulis' wishes???
