That´s not true, not in Sevilla anyway. It works similar to England. The big difference is that Real and Barca games have a huge increase. I think for Sevilla last year the cheapest tickets were 80 euros. I went to the levante game for 20 euros. As in England if you go though agencies you will pay more.

If you factor in the cost of living and peoples wages, England is probably cheaper than Spain.

Did anyone watch the Spain game last night? Yet another small victory. Has their football regressed since becoming so dominant? They were poor in the World Cup and seem to be very dull at the moment, almost happy to win by a goal then just keep the ball for the remainder of the game.

Smashed possesion last night which is to be expected for Spain, specially against a dross side like Macedonia. But they had little to show and few attempts at goal given the amount of possession they had. Only 2 shots on target I believe.

For our Spainish residents what is the public opinion in Spain regarding their national sides style of football?

The irony is Spain's national team has become shit since they started using that over rated donkey Costa up front. A lot of the players probably lack as much desire these days given they have already won everything too.

A lot of them seem to get picked on reputation rather than form too (a bit like England). I was reading last week that del Bosque was considering calling up Victor Valdes for the squad... The bloke has played 2 games in about eighteen months, and is fourth / fifth choice at his club... Wtf?!

Copa Del Rey second round ties tonight.

Not a fan of the Puma kit template this year, but got to say the Eibar version looks a class apart.

You say that but La Liga is ranked a lot higher than the Premier League.

One thing when I went to a game though... The play acting is absolutely ridiculous.

Sevilla again struggling against Levante to a 1-1 draw last night. Sevilla keeper Beto is so injury prone too. A gust of wind and he'd probably get a groin strain.

No idea why Emery went with him over Sergio Rico who had an impressive back end to last season.

Pretty amazing stat….

'The Portugal forward’s impressive haul saw him move ahead of Alfredo Di Stéfano and Raúl in one afternoon to amass a total of 229 goals in 203 matches – one ahead of Raúl, who needed 550 games to reach his tally'

Unfortunate for him then that it's a team game. What did all his goals to win the pichichi last year get him?

I was a Malaga v Eibar last night (awful game) and saw that shirt obviously on the pitch but close up on away fans (can't believe they brought about 100 all the way down on a Sunday night, as is usually the case many of them will probably be living and working in the South though). The shirts were so full. Really dark blue and dark claret, with that shitty red and white sticker on the front.

The TV money over all the decades is what I'm talking about, already they have spanked two teams in three games out of sight and now have a +11 goal difference. There may be the divide in the Premier League but that just doesn't happen. You will never get a 'Palace' going to Madrid and pissing all over them. Lucky odd win perchance once a season. Then they want to sack the manager and the team. C*nts.
