I hope The PFA does its job and sees that he's taken care of financially in his retirement (if there's anything left after Gordon Taylor has trousered his his well-earned remuneration)

Surely he has insurance. His contract was enough to live on i expect.

I believe most clubs/players have insurance in place these days.
Have to agree about Gordon Taylor, how long has he been in that role and let player after player down form race to mental health issues yet still be on a fat wedge? |

Heard somewhere he’s ‘earned’ £16 mill that can’t be right surely?.

Gordon Taylor is taking the p!ss with his salary and bonus package, and has been forever, no one seems to challenge it though
Ryan Mason will be fine financially, its what he does with his time now, same for many far less fortunate players that are forced to retire due to injury Just don't rely on Gordon Taylor's PFA! |

yes with more and more players in financial need after playing and finding the adjustment very difficult and rising mental health issues regardless of how much they have earnt it is time to find out exactly what the PFA is doing for them with the Ryan mason situation and the exposure of Gordon Taylor's astronomical rewards package.
We rarely hear of course of lower league players suddenly having to retire - how are they helped? So come on Gordon - justify your position. |
