Well we are in a worse position now than when we sacked him so it hasn't gone entirely to plan.

Yeah but don’t let the truth get in the way of a load of old bollocks

We're in a worse position now than when we sacked Neil Warnock but it doesn't mean that that wasn't the right decision.

Our problem was not BFS leaving but appointing De Boer. Had we had Hodgson from the start of the season, I think we would be comfortably mid-table.
I am sure Everton fans will get sick of his ego and 'pragmatism' in 18 months or so

The 5% that wanted him here would have got "sick of his ego and 'pragmatism' in 18 months or so" and forced him out ala Tony anti football Pulis at West Brom.

I’ve never seen a more one sided game than the Scouse derby on Sunday. Evertons penalty came from a long ball & their only attack of the game. They’ll put up with it this season but next season they’ll have delusions of grandeur..

Did you see Everton's lineup? They're an average team with all their players available to start, but with the likes of Baines, Keane, Barkley and Schneiderlin not starting like on Sunday its a complete rabble. Restricting one of the best attacking teams in Europe to few clear chances is a very impressive achievement with two kids, the normally donkey-ish Ashley Williams and championship quality Cuco Martina in defence. Once they get their players back and make a few transfers to improve the team then perhaps then they can afford to be a bit more adventurous against a Liverpool side light years ahead of them in every position that routinely batters them at Anfield. Also, I seriously doubt that Liverpool fans were lording it over Evertonians more than say after the 3-1 last season or the 4-0 the year before. Had far more possession in those matches though, funny that.

Mate, do you research. It was 80% possession on Sunday versus 51% in the 3-1 and 67% in the 4-0

Why are we discussing this wanker in GPD?

Some sad sacks are still furiously wanking over him despite us having two new managers since then.

Some people also can’t see how good he was for us when we were fooked. Like him or loathe him. Appreciate the job he did for us. Pardew has us all but gone and he got us right again.
Surely it’s the job of the mods to move this away from GPD, not us posting. |

I would accept 21% possession against Brighton if we beat them 3-0, yes.
