Champions league 6-7th of March

Think this’ll be comfortable for Real, but anticipating some good football nonetheless.

SBS in Oz has Liverpool vs Porto. Hoping for 0-6.

Um, no reason not to be quietly confident. Strong starting position. I didn't see the first leg - on holiday in the Philippines and the timezone/poor signal made it impossible - but did see highlights. Juve looked surprised, but they have Dybala back now. I'd happily take a 1-1 draw.

If Juve score first, it will be a tricky game. Demble should do well in midfield against Dybala I reckon

PSG more than disappointing. Cavavi and di Maria crap, Mbappé a little better.

I think PSG thought they had the CL sewn up as soon as they’d signed Neymar.

Lol. Good. Wankers.

Quite a few people had them down as favourites. Never understood why, need a new keeper, new defender or two and a midfielder to replace Motta before they’re in the same class as Barca, Bayern and Real. I’d rate Man City above them too.

Alves isn’t half the player he was for Juve let alone Barca.

Respect to the ref there for having the balls to send him off. 100% warranted, don't really like Real but would love to see them stuff PSG.

Verratti is a massive twat for that, should be ashamed. Quite funny though! Sulking bunch of players and for a change its Real who aren't messing about and just playing good football. No words for Ronaldo at 33 still doing what he does best.

Benzema really is a donkey. Saw him live in December and all I could think of was ‘am I watching Benteke?’

Yeah, its pretty insane - this was posted on BBC site before this game....

Unstoppable Ronaldo?
PSG v Real Madrid (19:45 GMT, 1-3 first leg)

Even for Cristiano Ronaldo, his current scoring streak is unreal.

At the age of 33, he has scored 10 goals in his last five games in all competitions - 14 in his last eight.

He has bagged 21 goals in his last 12 games in the Champions League - including 11 in seven this season.

Ronaldo became the first player to ever score in all six group games - and then in the first leg against PSG became the first player to bag 100 goals for the same club in the Champions League (and then added a 101st).

He is the top scorer in the history of the tournament with 116 goals.
117 now.

Goal poachers age well. Will be interested to see how long he goes on for though, still a key player for Real at 36?
