Victory for Hornchurch on Saturday see's them at home to Darlington....... oh well
Robins are at home this sat to Bromley in the F.A trophy, so any fans living in the area try and make the effort. Make it a double header with Palace kicking off at 12!

I will be there. Come on the Robins, lets have a good run in the cup this year. The wife is working on Saturday so could be a good day, in the pub for 12 and then to watch Carshalton.

I didn't think Carshalton played very well but a win is a win.
Great goal by Dessie.

As the Crewe game is now off, the home game against Canvey that day looks very appealing!!
Got soft spot for Canvey too after they knocked the seaweeds out of the FA Cup a few years back |

Four figure signing.
Nik McDonnell becomes Billy Smiths latest signing for the Robins from St Albans City and could well make his debut on Tuesday night. A very sharp and exciting young striker who joined Dr Martens Premier side Crawley Town in July 2002 from Ryman Leaguers Croydon. He had signed for Croydon in the spring of 1999 after being released by Farnborough Town. A glut of goals for the youth team and reserves earned Nic some early opportunities, and during the 2000/01 season he become a first-team regular, finishing up as leading goalscorer for 2000/01 and 01/02 and claiming the Player of the Year awards for 2001. Nic has had trials with a number of Nationwide League clubs in the past and is rated highly. It was, therefore, something of a coup for St Albans City when they managed to persuade him to return to the Ryman League in June 2003. Carshalton Athletic are very pleased to have brought him to the club for a four-figure sum, with the hope he can assist the Robins in maintaining their high league position with a few goals.

That should be a good signing. He's always looked quite a lively player when I've seen him in the past.
Wonder why Scott Todd (Andy Johnson lookalike !) who impressed me last season isn't getting a look in ? |
