What about the role of Phil Alexander CEO ?

Yep all these are decent

Slim, but law of averages says it has to happen one season.

Roy, Ray and Reid are up there with the most professional outfit you'll get. They'll ensure were prepared as best as possible going into the new season. And I think that's all we crave is some stability and steady recruitment.

As long as they lay some nice foundations for the new manager whoever that may be is the most important thing.

We've been here for five years hopefully going into six and despite having a very strong 10 outfield players we still need to really have good depth to truly be comfortably established. We lack options off the bench who you can say will come on and possibly change the game or offer something different for the opposition to worry about.

Nobody can be completely safe outside that top 6 in my opinion but you'll give yourself a massive chance if you have a Premier League squad. The rest comes down to the manager you employ.

Have a great squad and manager and you'll get great results, it's not rocket science. We aren't far off that but SP can't afford to be negative in the window or well stagnate.

The sooner he really addresses the squad to a good standard he won't need to continually pay 100K+ a week for players.

If we stay up having given everyone a seven game head start, chucking away or being denied perhaps 12 points I can think of and with a mis-firing striker who has lacked competition all season, it will be quite an achievement. Kudos to the management team as this will have been done despite rather than because of ourselves. But perhaps this also is a reflection as to how bad the premier league is. In previous seasons (as the statisticians told us), seven defeats and no goals in seven games is generally a death sentence.

This is both a good and a bad thing. It's good as God willing we've got away with it and it shows the potential of an upgrade here and there and some organisation. Just look at Burnley. However it's a bad thing as perhaps its shows that we can compete without necessarily splashing the cash so what happens now - assuming we don't have more managerial musical chairs - is down to the club's ambition.

However, this is if we stay up. Our biggest enemy (which also cover the "bad thing" point above) is complacency. We're not safe yet and the four teams below us have a game in hand. One more win will probably see us safe and it would be good to get this before we play Stoke.

This bloke could be excellent competition for Townsend. Looks like he'd get a few free kicks for Luka too.

Looks rather light-weighted from Prem standard and will likely get muscled out off the ball too wasily

Maybe. He's certainly a lot stronger than his compatriot Chungy. Just think he'd be great cover/competition for the wings and he looks to have the ability and creativity to play as an attacking midfielder as well. Seems like the kind of player that doesn't stop running, finding space, drawing players out of position and isn't scared to shoot. We could probably pay him better money, chance to impress in a bigger league and I think we could afford the fee.
