Can play up front, behind a striker or left wing.. arguably we need all of that. Far more talented than anyone else we've been linked with and any other time I'd say it's a no brainer to take the gamble for 10m or so (going on current values)
Problem is how match fit can he be and how long will it take befoe he is? Will a change of club get his full efforts again to realise his potential? Worth a punt normally but we are in a relegation fight and can't afford a passenger for even 2 months let alone this season or next. It would be exciting and potentially more rewarding and better value than others we've been linked to but for that comes a much bigger risk

Is he ?
We keep being told this, can't help thinking he'll flop wherever he ends up. |

Technically good but whats stopping him being a stroppy bastard for us like Townsend?

We have so many 'good' players who seem to forget it when they get here.

The bloke has barely kicked a ball in a year. Will take ages to get match fit. we need players that can come in and help us NOW!

He's got loads of potential, just got a bit above himself for a while. I really hate the way Pulis has dealt with this situation. WBA have shot themselves in the foot at the same time as stabbing him in the back imo. Only they know what's really gone on, but there must have been a better way for both club and player.
If the price was reasonable, yes. He could be good with both Benteke, Remy or even Wickham when he's back. Can play on the left as well I think. |

Same was said about Defoe
Berahino has the potential to be as good if not a better all rounder than Defoe |

Without question he has quality, but the last time he showed that was in excess of a Year, for whatever reason the lad has lost his way and if Pulis can't get him back on track then nobody will. I can't see SA having the patience to pamper to his whims, the boy has been a fool to himself and done his career no good, Palace need to steer clear as we can't afford to nurture back to fitness/sharpness another player as we have already spent half a season doing that on Remy. Yes we desperately need Another Striker, but NOT Berahino in my opinion.

Unbelievable on his day, he's got bags of ability. But right now we need players who can dig deep in the trenches, unless Sam takes a huge gamble with his man management skills I'm not keen on him right now.

No the twat would be fortunate to play for us. Risking a package of 20-25 million on him would be nuts.

Blimey, he wouldn't be anywhere near that now.
