For those who want to go but don't fancy the upper tier - a few lower tier tickets, presumably returns, are currently available online.

if anyone knows, is the upper tier any worse than the gods in Wembley?

The front of the top tier at wembley is significantly better than anywhere in the away end at the london stadium.

The back of the away end at west ham is without any doubt the furthest from the pitch i have ever felt at a live football match. I have sat in the back row at wembley and you get a better view from there (albeit i was on the half way line at the very back).

OK, thanks for that. Still looking forward to it somehow, perhaps because it can't be worse than Tuesday , I hope.

Hi, had anyone been to the London stadium before and know how strict they are on their bag policy? Apparently bthey only allow bags smaller then 30cmx20cmx20cm... Do they stick to this?

Not sure on the rule enforcement but if you didn't want to chance it (as there is no bag store at the stadium) there is a bag drop at the Stratford Westfield shopping centre although it is £5 a bag.

FWIW I was in the lower tier for the first time. I actually think that is a perfectly decent view and experience. Other than the result i couldn't really fault it.

Likewise and went to Pudding Mill Lane DLR station, 5 minute walk to away entrance and easy getting away after the match. Be nice to go there and win one season to really enjoy the day.

The upper bits are not nearly as bad as people were making out. Next year, if you can only get tickets in the upper block don't let others put you off.

I disagree vehemently. The back of the upper tier is way way way way too far from the pitch.

The back is a steep climb though. So it isn't for those with walking difficulties.
