I've not been there for a good few years now, but always used to go to the Clarendon and, judging by a quick online search, it sounds like it's still ok in there for away fans.

Okay thanks, do you know are they in walking distance from the ground? Not been to Wolves before.

Yes. It's about a 10 minute walk to the ground from memory. Most pubs in Wolverhampton are not really places for away colours. This one has been friendly enough on previous visits and isn't 'home fans only', but still best to keep a relatively low profile.

That's by the Premier Inn so useful if you are staying there overnight.

Wolverhampton is one of those increasingly rare places where there are still plenty of pubs easy walking distance to the ground. I will probably go to the Chindit and/ or Combermere (?) Arms

We went in the Clarendon. Was as I remembered - decent pub, largely home fans, but a friendly atmosphere and free parking in the street behind the pub.

Went to the Bluebrick in the end, right near the train station and also a big NCP car park so handy for transport links. Pleasant enough and not overly busy, the food was exceptionally good for a pub.
