Season Tickets 2018-19
Bought mine in March last year to get the best price and to ensure same seat. Have always done the debit card to avoid credit card fees. So two questions. Will the pricing structure remain the same or will we add something on to reflect the increased fees as most will plump for CC rather than DC if no difference in price. When will they be announced as felt slightly delayed last year because of the stewardship of Pardew towards the championship. That will not happen with Roy

2018/19 must see hdeagle edging ever closer to having a season ticket for 100 consecutive years.

I thought card fees were banned as of this weekend. To charge "fees" you now have to charge everyone regardless of payment method or it's illegal.

Sorry just read the first post properly, talking about what I just posted.

I hope they keep the cost the same as they've done for the last few years. An extra tenner per season ticket would probably only cover just a little more than 1 week of Benteke's wages.

No problem - will SP keep prices as they have been or do some slippery deal to punish credit card users or more worryingly everyone?

Will be hearing something soon about next year as official site has the following:
With Season Tickets selling out again for the second season running, the best chance to take your place next year is to join our 18/19 Season Ticket waiting list. For a payment of £10, you can register your interest in getting a seat for next season in advance. The list works on a first come first served basis after current Season Ticket Holders have been given the chance to renew or move their existing seat, with the £10 deposit deducted from the purchase price. Fans who join the waiting list will be able to purchase their ticket on a first come first served basis in the second selling phase, after the Save Your Seat deadline for current Season Ticket Holders has passed.

Err, most of us will, by renewing our existing STs, but there's been no announcement directed to existing ST holders. Still, nothing related to the Box Office surprises me.

I guess it’s because existing ST holders can anticipate that we’ll get a window of opportunity in the coming months to renew our seats, so we already know roughly what will happen.
Whereas they must be receiving enquiries from people wanting to buy STs for the first time and so it was timely to give them some guidance on the website now about the procedure for their needs. Grab potential new customers asap. |

Never hurts to have a 'season ticket waiting list' when you are about to apply for planning permission to expand capacity too

The club are restricted to the number of Season Tickets they can sell. Think its 17,500 and we have reached that last 2 or 3 seasons hence the waiting list. Once ST are catered for and away fans, Corporate seats, Players family tickets etc does not leave a lot for members. General sale just after Christmas against a side like Burnley is to be expected.

Restricted? By whom? Always thought that was a self imposed limit, to allow the sale of 'casual' tickets (thankfully). It's not a PL requirement is it?

I am not sure on that point. Maybe the clubs own restriction but would have thought if the could sell all seats by way of ST they would so its possible there is a rule to the percentage of seats sold as ST to allow those with less money/time the chance to attend.

It's a wonder Parish hasn't introduced a waiting list to get on the waiting list charge .
