It is a soulless 'experience' IMO
It's not the best, but personally I find the Etihad a lot worse than Old Trafford. Will be at OT, may not go to the Etihad

When we play at the Etihad, as much as Palace usually collapse, you can see a truly great team (ie theirs) at the peak of their powers.

Too often at Man United, it feels like dodgy refereeing is at play, which makes me more angry than at just a typical Palace collapse

A couple of seasons ago when we played them on the last game of the season I was sure that the first time in 27 years, we would end the baron spell. Everything was in our favour. They had their Europa final ahead, played fringe players and we were safe after hammering Hull. Jose went public saying he hoped Sam would leave Benteke, Wilf etc at home - we barely turned up AGAIN and went down like a sack of shit. Game meant nothing and still enjoyed the weekend none the less but deep down was furious. I can’t believe after all this time being 41 now I was there aged 14 the last time we beat them in the league. Of course, it goes without saying, they will have turned the corner by the time we play them again.

I remember the evening game there, which I think was rearranged in the run up to the FA Cup semis

We even played Speroni (to rest Hennessey for the Semi), although at that time I thought Speroni was the better of the two.

Speroni played incredible, made some great saves and was Man of the Match. We still lost, and the Man Utd fans barely cared. They only got out of their seats to clap the subs on and off. Grim.

We stayed to clap the Palace players but left before Man Utd players went up the steps to collect the cup

Unbelievably, many Man United fans beat us to our car park some 15 mins walk away. And in the post match phone in on the radio all they talked about was that Van Gaal should still be sacked

That’s where I’ve parked the last couple of seasons. Not cheap and a good 10-15 minute walk from the ground but gives a quick getaway.

They’re on sale now, to away season ticket holders and then start the next phase tomorrow to people with over 5000 points.

See post 18 on this thread for the selling order.

Because for the first time ever TV companies and all the club's have actually started to listen to fans who said enough was enough with the bs moving games at late notice etc.

If you're driving and want a quickish get away without going to drink in Manchester City Centre try the Metrolink Park and Ride: To view the link you have to Register or Login

Places like Altrincham and Sale have park and ride sites and on the same lines as Old Trafford.

Have done this some years ago using Navigation Road worked well and was quite easy getting tram back after the game and it was a fairly easy drive back to the motorway.

Navigation Road is the last stop before Altrincham and is off the A56
