Yes - a much better route. Last season we went for a drink in Shadwell pre-match and were in the stadium less than 30 minutes after leaving the pub. Will do the same this season.

Row 48 of the upper tier is what i was just given when i searched for a ticket - no thank you - you'll need binoculars to see the pitch up their in the clouds! Haha

The upper tier rows are numbered something like 31-72 so 48 is not quite as bad as it might sound.

Higher up the upper tier would probably be a bit better in some respects I guess as you'll have a raised view. The main problem is that the whole upper tier is so far back and so you're not massively advantaged by being further forward.
