Cheers.
Email also said: Please note that only the lower tier will only be open for ticket purchase, we must strictly adhere to Manchester City’s selling procedure. ...which is a shame as you get a cracking clear view from the middle tier. I suspect that with the date of this fixture and our previous record up there, that the box office aren't confident we'll need the middle tier at all

This is getting ridiculous. Buy an away season ticket and guarantee yourself the worst seat in the house! Anyone know the capacity of the lower tier? I fear DE is right and we won’t get the middle tier this season. |

It would be nice if one of our strikers would!

Back of the lower is ok. In a world where any seat in that stadium watching us get thumped on the 22nd December is ok.

It's a scary thought facing City in their current home form, could think of a better Christmas present to expect.

The middle tier blocks are on the system, but 'blacked out', so presumably won't be sold unless the whole lower sells out first. Can't see us selling it out for our usual 4 or 5 goal thumping

Crap away day, turn up and get thumped in a stadium with empty seats galore and a crowd that don't sing.
Man Utd away is more fun these days...

Man United has more tourists (only just) but better hot dogs. Both are usually pretty crap places to watch Palace.

Much prefer City to Utd away in terms of stadium and atmosphere despite the fact we get thumped at City.

Never much fun, but maybe we will get a surprise result one day that will make up for all the crap visits. Hopefully an early Christmas present!

In the last couple of years the atmosphere has been better at Old Trafford than the Etihad. The lower tier only has about 700 I believe these days so I expect it'll still open up but as usual will be very sparsely populated.

Yes but the rear rows of the lower tier closest to the goal are marked as inaccessible. It's absolutely ludicrous.

Quite likely that those have been held back for player comps etc., especially if they haven't decided whether we're going to take any middle tier seats.

I’ll be in the country for this one! Only have a gold membership and 2000 points due to living overseas, what are my chances of getting a ticket? I can get one in the fourth phase of selling. Can I expect there to still be tickets by that stage?
