was planning on taking my 10 month old daughter to her first game but the kick off time/coupled with travelling means it's not going to be viable.

Premium matches experiences from 60 quid. What does that entail? Us scoring a goal?

On average, pensioners are now actually better off than working households, by £20 a week

Rather than be drawn into financial comparisons, perhaps it is best to just say that the concession is given out of sympathy for a lifetime of sufferance supporting Palace!

Slightly different take in today's Observer: To view the link you have to Register or Login

(Not all clubs give discounts to OAPs. My Arsenal mate (same age as me) pays the same rate as an adult would. His season ticket is in the region of £1500 - mine is less than a third of that. But he does get to see his team win quite often )

I genuinely massively disapprove of young children (both in general and..) at football matches but as a life long Palace supporter I would love to be able to have said the late Daddy Charltonhater took me to my first game in 1985 as a baby rather than waiting until I was six year olds.

As long as jaspercpfc knows what they are getting themselves into, prepared to leave early if daughter hates it and sits nowhere near me as it's a cup game which will never sell out I applaud his efforts.
Cup games are perfect for taking

Especially considering there is an away fans section, which suggests our little troll is too much of a pussy to post there.

Seems to be 40 loyalty points for going to this one...nice. Really looking forward to it despite some negativity on here. Bringing a few neutrals / rare attendees, few drinks before - and hopefully a positive result.

Had a look on their forum. A bit of dissatisfaction about how their box office is handling things, restricting who can buy tickets and when i.e. ticket subs for Swindon gets you a ticket now, otherwise wait 2 weeks. Some think they could sell out and ask for more, others more pragmatic.

All in all, they're excited.

They could they have the whole Arthur Wait if they wanted it as it is not on sale to Palace fans. Close to 9000 seats? No need for them to be frugal amongst their own fans. Unless Palace are restricting their numbers to keep the policing costs down (????)
