You gave it specifically for the West Bank..for the twentieth million time, apartheid was very specific, it's used to label Israel fornegative PR purposes because of the exceptionalism associated with the term of something exceptionally bad....most countries (including the UK) have preferred immigration routes for members of a particular national group..and you can bet your life the Palestinian state will have a similar right of return. I'ts absolutely clear who the memorial was commemorating... Last edited by legaleagle2; 12-08-2018 at 12:17 PM. |

I think the West Bank is apartheid and Gaza a buntastan (but worse). I think the reason for that is the Israeli state. So if I look at the Israeli state as a whole, and effective control it has over those areas, and then add the denial of the right of return, then I would classify it as apartheid. |

Sorry I’ve got confused! The memorial yes, what I meant was it is unclear what the wreath laying was for, which is why corbyn was there.
It seems the wreath was for those who died in the air crash. The fact that there was a memorial in the same area 15 yards away is a bit of a stretch to blame corbyn for!! |

When you even bother to read right wing news sources like The Mail, they clearly state that the grave yard in question and the event was to commemorate Palestinian martyrs but that the grave yard it's self also was where the Munich attackers were buried and that Corbyn's photo was taken near where the Munich attackers were buried Therefore that Must be why he was there. That's absolutely piss weak as an argument. Quote:

I’m a bit dyslexic and my posts frequently have spelling mistake. No need to dig me out for that. Loads of people do that to people on the BBS and I think it’s a bit crap.

So, slurs about my mental health, and personal insults. Both the skills of someone with a high intellect.

No one is justifying it. There s a difference between justification and looking at a bigger picture.

Trying to define who is a terrorist and who is a freedom fighter is doing nothing for this thread and is coming across as nothing but deflection.
The truth is while a campaign to commit terrorist acts by any group can result in the political shift that they seek, terrorism will always be seen as legitimate tactic. I therefore think stating if you disagree with this it therefore means you also disagree with that is a pointless and unhelpful argument.

Sounds about right in any case though. I'd probably put myself under "Don't know" for the last two questions but Yes on "they handled the row poorly".

I think you more get annoyed with me because it's not so easy to just give it some razzle dazzle, use what you've learnt (potentially in a legal capacity in order to build arguments) You're arguments are well constructed and thought out but then because nobody on the BBS will forensically challenge them, largely because they are agreeable and fairly moderate positions you sometimes over stretch and maybe go out on a limb to make a point where the grounds for your argument don't quite cover the argument you are making. However it's quite easy when, despite me not necessarily always disagreeing with you, you are arguing in bad faith and I think for the fairness of debate, you should be fine with it being pointed out. I've never been particularly rude or offensive to you. I've just said you are a bully when you don't get your own way. which is evidenced by me saying that and you responding with the following. "Good Morning, not taken the breakfast daily medicine tablets yet? Many thanks.Coming from a twat like yourself,I will take it as a compliment" "Hope you feel better soon,oh so over the top and self-righteous one" These are the comments a bully would make and therefore I think suggesting you are a bully is fair comment and would be held up as such.

This is the same paper today calling out Corbyn for associating with someone years before they said anything anti Semitic. How dare he. Can we conclude that anyone visiting Highgate cemetery is a Marxist?

"I respectfully disagree but why can't you just agree I am right" It's intellectually lazy and does nothing to convince anyone of your argument.

It isn't. But it didn't happen in a vacuum. To understand that does not defend it.
