The thought of parish sitting at a table with levy picking players to swap for wilf feels me with dread rather arther Daley was other side of table

Agree. With better quality around him he's flourish. Not sure about Utd though not while mourinho there

Every team in the world should agree to put in their contacts that any player who doesnt turn up to training or refuses to play should be deducted their wages. In what world do you not turn up by protest to work and get paid £50-100k for a week.... Football.

Are we replacing Wilf directly with Moses as part of this plan, or using Moses as a wingback. The position where he’s really excelled at Chelsea having been a bit of a forgotten man playing as a winger, before he was used this way by Conte?

Just pray he wants to stay, that's all it boils down to, if he wants to go he will go.
That will be my worst day as a Palace fan ever without doubt.
We could absolutely deny him a move if the offer isn't good enough.

They are different types of player and different ages as well.

But Mahrez is clearly the more coveted player as of now. He was a massive reason why Leicester won the league and is currently being chased by Man City, the best team in England.

Wilf is still learning and developing, but hasn’t hit that level yet. (Sentimental red and blue spectacles being removed for a second obviously)

Think the only player I enjoy watching as much as Wilf is Messi, and even then Wilf would just edge it.

Why would we sell Wilf?

We couldn't replace him and have to give the wankers a large percentage of the fee.

More than that he is Mr Palace, a local lad, an intrinsic part of our identity and by far and away the most entertaining player we have ever had (IMHO)

Hoo, playing in African in June, that's going to be fun.

Not sure whether I'd prefer that over giving him the 2-3 weeks away in January to play in the sun and preserve a proper summer break.

Apparently it's not as hot as you would think I was told before.

Most of Africa has seasons that are the reverse to ours, so June will be the around the mildest part of the year for most hosts, including next-up Cameroon.

South Africa in June is a bit chilly, Egypt rather hottish, and Gabon steamy all year round. It's a huge continent.

OK, ManU may have been careless, but more probably, their lawyers had the "player swap" angle covered in the small print. Notice how few player swaps there are ?

And as for Sterling - England in Russia: watch and learn.
