I think Chelsea is the most realistic club who could make us a decent offer. If reports are true, they may be looking to sell Willian for £60m to Man U it would make sense if they came after Wilf. £70m+ or perhaps £50m+ Moses would give us something to think about.

Puncheon's eye was drawn to Arsenal, I've not heard the same about Zaha though.

Why does this crap keep resurfacing?
He's under contract, we have no intention of selling and as someone else said, let's offer them a player swap with Harry Kane and see their fans' reaction. Utter bollocks will this ever happen.

He's been with us since the age of 8 so i imagine that would have quite an influence on who he supports. You can forgive anyone for supporting one of the big boys when they first find out about football, especially with the shenanigans Palace got up to but in Wilf's case he's been with us so long and taken us on this journey, he's already a legend, the journey and the story is not ready to end, there's plenty more to achieve.
Ultimately the choice is going to be up to him, i'm sure all the big boys want him but its not them who decide, or the fans on here who are so ready to cash in for a paultry some of money. He is on a long contract and worth a fortune (well over 100M in my view) but however much he's worth he is irreplaceable for us, we can't buy anyone to remotely replace what he is to us and without him we are championship material. The day we cash in on him we might as well cash in on everyone else too and prepare for our next spell in the championship, there's no doubt thats where we are heading as soon as he goes. |

Just because he’s under contract, he won’t be sold ? Yeah, that never happens

Get the bat out, SC. Just to make a point, of course. Only during transfer windows.

Not read through the whole thread but found The Mail's quote that Wilf is ''likely to leave" whether we stay up or not typical of them. Gits. Such a horrible paper. Wonder how they interview their journalists? How obnoxious do you think you can be?

wilf is better than mahrez. Simple as that really, obviously about opinions and all that shite, but I see it as quite straight forward. Who would I rather watch? Wilf, who is better? Wilf, would I swap wilf for mahrez? Not a chance!

He might not want to go. And it's actually pretty easy to turn down 50M at today's prices because you can't replace Wilf with that

If Palace stay in the PL Wilf will be paid more than any Spurs player. Plus he has as much chance of winning something with us as he does with them. Around 0%.

I personally don't think he'll move out of London if he stays in the UK, so that leaves, realistically, Arsenal and Chelsea. If Chelsea came in with a big offer, I think we'd find it hard to hold on to him. He'd get the chance of European football there. If I was him I'd steer well clear of Arsenal at the moment. |

I've never seen Wilf 'down tools' in an attempt to force a move.
