Obviously not you unless the toilet cleaning business I assume you work in has reached the 100 mil mark

0 Pts 5 games & going down - reminiscent of he Goldberg season - except then we had more points at the same time and we scored more goals - the post was designed to cause a reaction and it did!

For the last 2 years we have suffered substantially and a lot of that jf because of sp's decisions and much of those have been pointed out by others and called in advance.

Have a look how we are compared to the likes of west Brom Stoke who have spent years in the division and are similar in size to ourselves,

We are wasting the best opportunity to consolidate ourselves and you have to look at the leadership in these circumstances. In any other business he wouldn't have lasted

Meh to be interview

Heart is in right place and I love the man

Seemed to not take responsibility.. and just moaned at people moaning.

Normally his interviews make me more rational and calm about things. That didn't. Didn't make me feel worse about our situation mind.

Fair play to SP for facing up tonight. Fair play to HOL radio for a good interview.
Pretty much how I saw it too. No dislike whatsoever, don't think he helped himself with some answers, but can't see many other prem chairman doing what he's done tonight, especially after our current form. Well done to him. This summer has been an utter shambles there's no getting away from it, but he wants what's best for the club

If some fans can't see that Parish is a significant part of the reason for the malaise then they have blinkers on top of their blinkers. He can only take us so far. And that was around early 2015. What is he still doing running the show?

Was there any discussion about the squads lack of depth and squad building? i.e. spending the majority of the transfer budget in various windows on massively expensive players rather than a more rounded squad?

He's hiring people to take some of the strain though, like DF.

I don't doubt this, but was amazed to hear him say that 'we now have someone full time working on the stadium'. How amateur is this? Ask Arsenal, Spurs, WHU - not only did they have top people on it full time, they employed people with the inside track on the councils they were working with, to smooth things over and get no nasty surprises from the planning process, when they looked to rebuild/move.

This amateurism is symptomatic of his unwillingness/inability to delegate. So, everything needs his say so, and things, across a wide range of areas, pile up in the in tray while fire-fighting takes place on the immediate crisis.

Similar comments could be made about academy development, recruitment, scouting and even simple things like competent catering arrangements and decent internet facilities.

Obviously he was a big success in his previous career and grew with the job. He lacks different skill sets in the very different football world, lets his emotions get the better of himself by being a "fan" in the transfer window and going for glamorous signings, father than improving the team, as a whole, incrementally.

Hiring competent people and delegating, while making them accountable, and pulling the strings from the centre is what is needed. Unfortunately his failure/inability to do so is now catching up with him.

He has been great for the club, but he can't do it all on his own. The pressure is beginning to tell, and his judgements are becoming increasingly erratic.

Steve - for your sake, and ours - DELEGATE - to competent people. Give yourself some slack, and begin to relax and enjoy life more. We will ALL benefit.

There was discussion but i if I remember correctly it was answered 'if it's a bad signing it's my fault but I don't get credit for good ones or just don't blame me for either'

May not be exactly right but along those lines

Bear in mind he's talking into a computer for 2 hours on a Sunday night when he's probably tired. I got the impression he was thinking about the questions (and the online feedback) and trying to give some answers. He was trying to answer a lot of questions, rather just a few from a journalist.

So relieved he doesn't bother investing any thought in the accusations that he said are based in 1% fact. You got to say, unless he's lying through his teeth, a lot of the criticisms on here are just based on pure ignorant nonsense. Sorry to disappoint a few of you but sounds like he's no intention of going anywhere.
I loved his 'solutions not problems' response. Summed it up well. We are in a backs-to-the-wall on-the-ropes place after another summer of upheaval that has left a lot feeling like they have taken several punches to the solar plexus, but have been there so often as a club in the past that we are well used to bouncing off them and giving a few back when we stop feeling sorry for ourselves and have belief that we can make a decent side that can win matches despite not addressing the keeper and goalscoring shortfalls.

Solutions can be found in the short term and then again in January. We just need to try and be positive about the chances of finding a decent back 4 from Fosu, Dann, Sakho and Schlupp, with a back up 4 in the shape of Ward, Kelly, Tomkins & PvA/Souare. Any midfield comprising the likes of Wilf, Cabaye, Luka, Cheek and Townsend should contain enough elements to feed Benteke from out wide until we can help im out in January. There is a long long way to go this season and all we have had so far is the equivalent of a really bad xmas period. The new management team was good enough for England not so long ago so should be able to finally get us playing like a team and winning at home after what feels like years.

The new breed obviously dont have anything but the premier league years to have a frame of reference in terms of degrees of shit, but believe me we have been in far worse places even if it doesnt feel like it at the moment. Get off the mans back eh.

Really excited to hear him talking about the new architect and then talking about lots of plans being explored in relation to the AW last week. Am daring to dream that a suprastadio solution is truly being explored now.

In summary i guess we will all take different things from it but i was really happy overall with what i heard. Fantastic that he won't be driven off by the entitled wankers either.

Russia demonization. Akin to 1930's Germany.

Who funds the anti russia propaganda site bellingcat? http://newsvideo.su/video/9455566
