It's hardly surprising. May sat on the fence over Brexit and became Prime Minister by default when it became clear that Johnson/Gove/Fox/Davis simply weren't acceptable candidates.

Since then she's been all over the place, demonstrating that she's clearly not up to the job.

Meanwhile the strong and stable Corbyn has stuck to the same approach and personality that he's had all along, and by doing so has demonstrated his strong credentials.

As many, in and out of politics are often so keen to point out, the electorate isn't stupid.

Yes, it probably is him and it doesn't reflect well on him but how did you find it? Did you get so angered at a problematic opposing opinion that you went and spent part of your day inputting his user name into various search engines til you found the smoking gun? Because that really doesn't reflect well on you.

It's not as bad as that creepy kid on here who found a BBSer Tory supporter's twitter and went back to find cringey tweets he made months or even years ago but its a slippery slope. Would you like it if it happened in reverse? I'm sure with 100k posts there might be one or two you wouldn't want the world to see. You're lucky your critics lack the same dedication that you have.

The Tories are in a really tough position at the moment. They can't quite get behind Theresa and know that a leadership challenge could lead to another General Election. But then the longer they stick with her the more the poll ratings will collapse.

I guess they're just waiting for the next stage of the inevitable Labour civil war.

Yeah god forbid that anyone's anonymity on the internet should be breached.

It was an act of sheer genius, I admit, to type Willcpfc and EDL into google.

Fortunately of course, finding him on an EDL website no more breaches his anonymity than finding him in GPD.

I dont think her poll ratings will worsen, unless she does a u-turn on #Brexit or goes soft #Brexit.

As for Labours Civil War, apparently its already started.

Labour's civil war has kicked off: Corbynites are on the warpath and Luciana Berger is top of their list

I'm not in favour of anonymity on the internet anymore than I'm in favour of anonymity on the street, for the record. That goes for balaclavas, burkas and ku klux klan masks.

This has little to do with the Maz/Will argument but I used to agree with you, what you write online should be held accountable in real life but recently with a lot of stalking/doxing on SM I've come to change my mind. I don't really care about defending the froggy online far right (or the anon far left who are equally as vile) but what if you are say a Muslim in a right wing area or an apostle in a Muslim area or a lefty in the bible belt/redneck area or a righty in a campus safe space area or an immigrant in an area hostile to them. Should you give up your right to free speech because of the fear some weirdo might out you and do you violence?

I accept the idea that even in an anything goes society free speech has social consequences (no one wants to hang out with/employ a racist ect) but we should avoid self policing. If someone writes for example "I don't like Bolivian people" then they are a twat and should be avoided but should they be outed and potentially lose their job and source of income for their families because they acted foolish online?

If all our online comments were traceable and we were held to account to them to family, friends and bosses dare I say the BBSer who would be in the most trouble is a former member of this parish who is well on the left side of the political spectrum (hint he likes drugs). You can't have one rule for one side and not the other.

Too easy! Link number 4.

You really didn't have to look hard did you.

TBH, I'd say it shows how none of us bothered in the past, or with his past, and simply debated on the merit of his arguments.

I'm not sure I agree. All my online comments probably are traceable. If I'm consistent in my views and have nothing to hide, why shouldn't they be? It doesn't mean anyone can necessarily find out my surname or address or anything unless they know me in the real world.

And amusing as it might be, implicating yourself in illegal activities in writing is kind of stupid because ultimately it is all traceable. Nothing on the internet is secure after all, not even email.

re your bolded comment, if you mean who I think you mean, he makes no secret on social media that's much more traceable to him what he does and doesn't like.

Re your point in general, you're massively over reacting.

Doxxing is producing someones' IRL name and address and such.

Linking to another PUBLIC forum, where a member posts under a pseudonym and their real identity is not in any way in jeopardy then I think you are protesting far far too much.

It might even be someone different with coincidentally the same user name.
