Meanwhile the strong and stable Corbyn has stuck to the same approach and personality that he's had all along, and by doing so has demonstrated his strong credentials.

As many, in and out of politics are often so keen to point out, the electorate isn't stupid.
He has survived many smear attacks by the bent press and tory moles already, it's easy to guess there will be many more to come, and they were right to fear him compared to the other drips who ran against him in the leadership contests. The right of the party now literally has no choice but to get into line and be stronger together, just not in charge. That way lies embarrassing defeat. 46% and rising, with an aging tory support and a few forelock tuggers. Looking good for Labour, what price the tory backbench to grow a backbone? Surely some must have one of sorts you would think.

Quite right Cary. The Labour party people think they are voting in to power may well not be the Labour they get. Perhaps quite a different species once the militant Marxists get their way.

I am glad Labour didnt get into power because the civil war breaking out within Labour would be happening whilst they were in power and in charge of the UK. (God help the UK) As they lost the election, as luck would have it, the civil war and unrest within Labour will now unfold and break open in a party of opposition and not government. The voters will now see what true kind of Corbins Labour they will get before the next election. A chance to see before you buy if you like. The wont like what they see. The Tories need to stay in power long enough for this to occur, but the militant left are champing at the bit already The true colours of Corbins Labour are beginning to unfurl, and I dont think Corbin will be able to keep the cat in the bag for much longer.

The UK dodged a bullet with Labour losing the election. Labours mask is beginning to slip. You can only fool the voters once. Interesting times indeed.

I am guessing all of an age that were old enough to remember not only the 80s Britain but the 70s as well.

Well you can make light of it... 70/80s was not glorious politically. Remember it was the mess of the 70s that led to Britain crying out for a leader like Thatcher. One extreme makes the pendulum swing the other way.

Not making light of it at all. Simply pointing that whilst it is wise to remember the 70's and it's consequences, lets also remember to keep an eye on those who have an interest promoting the idea of a Marxist 5th column waiting in the wings of the Labour party. Despite the passage of time, theses include some who were also involved with the Zinoviev letter, hence my post.

No doubt some will try and play this up however as I originally said I hope those at local Labour party level simply do not dismiss it as that and they are aware of the danger of a party within a party. It is a genuine fear

Perhaps they would be better to remember the mid 1940's when a Labour government pushed forward radical plans that were seen by Tories and the Tory press as being incredibly socialist and therefore dangerous to the British way of life. Sometimes you need something radical to make the lives of ordinary people, and the future for our children, better.

I am not talking about policies I am talking about tactics of fear and intimidation by people infiltrating the Labour party from the extremes of left wing politics. The SDP were created by talented Labour wing politicians because of what went on.

Don't you see that these would be exactly the same things that were being reported by the Tory press and more traditional Labour MP's in the 1940's. The Tories are running scared and will use any means, including leaks from more centrist Labour MP's, to undermine what Corbyn is trying to achieve.

My concerns are similar, I am far too familiar with the absolute shitfest the last marxist shower of shit dealt this country . It left thatcher in charge for an eternity . momentum are a little too similar to millitant and are probably going to be worse if they get any sort of say in running this country . SCARY STUFF !
