Oh yeah way better. Once people realise what kind of militant Markist union left wing led Labour Party they are getting for their vote, staus quo will be resumed.

Well your friends who publish the Mail, Sun, Express, Telegraph and Times are all doing their best to bring about that realisation of course. And we know that they're only motivated by a sense of what's best for this country and its people. So maybe you're right. Maybe.

Agree the role of some new labour MPs was disgusting and they are quite rightly warned that their Tory lite views and sabotage of their leader have no place in the Labour Party Why is any left wing policy seen as militant but when Ian Duncan smith viciously slashes benefits which lead to untold hardship and misery and Suicide this is praised. This of course is daily express mentality and I can think of no lower form
Why is questioning a CEO earning 187 times what some of his staff earn Marxist?
Our friends in the media of course do not want these sort of things to enter public discourse so come up with the above thinking which those like the one above swallow whole

You cant hide it, no matter how much you try to, the cat is nearly out the bag and a militant left wing 70s Marxist union led unelectable Labour is almost bare for all to see. A totally different Labour Party to the one the electorate thought they were voting for, totally different than was portrayed recently. A trojan horse or wolf in sheeps clothing Labour Party if you want.

Definitely not a Trojan horse. You really need to read up on your Iliad before you say things like that.

The concern some have, including myself, is not related to policy, but about talk of fear and intimidation and cleansing of the broadchurch of opinion that exists within the Labour party.

Some may want to immediately play the anti Corbyn stance of the media for these concerns, but by doing so, they are either complicit in allowing it to happen, or are too blinded to stop it happening.

Political history of the 70/80s and the things that are held in common with today make it a justifiable concern that needs to be addressed.

You talking about the mine closures Cary? If so, I'm in full agreement. We have to be very careful about the current party in power.

No I am not I am talking about what happened within the Labour party movement.

Talking more about the entryism policy of Militant Tendency. The internal battles within Labour to try and expel Militant. Am talking about the Militant run Liverpool council that Kinnock famously made reference to at the 1985 Labour party conference when he said "you end in the grotesque chaos of a Labour council, a Labour council, hiring taxis to scuttle round the city handing out redundancy notices to its own workers.". I am talking about the intimidation of people that would not go on strike, i am talking about a political movement that to achieve its aims would use and exploit the very people it purported to be campaigning for.

That is if the new people in 2017 are the same as Militant? It could be that they are just very fed up with the more centrist politicians within Labour. You don't have to be Militant to feel like that.

Totally agree, but we are not talking about political direction as such, we are talking the actions of using fear and intimidation to impose your political will. There is enough out there to raise concern that there is a party within a party, enough out there to look to shut the door on the possibility of it happening, so what is being done at local Labour party level to ensure it is not?

You don't see the tories of being equally and possibly more guilty of that then? Then as now?

I don't know if anything is being done but I'm not sure how true it is in the first place.

Spot on John. Ridding the party of divisive scum red tories that have been offered more olive branches than a Greek farmer yet still refuse to fall into line is hardly entryism or militant. It's common sense. How many chances do you give someone before you decide enough is enough? God knows Corbyn has tried hard enough with some of them.

And this is precisely why the Tories will sadly continue to win. Whatever their divisions, they put up a united, broad front, in which ultimately rebels are accommodated. Labour, by contrast, is just full of back-biting venom, where those who have a different view are regarded as traitors.
