I doubt anyone would. Kylie Tracey perhaps. But i think Silva is a better manager than most and not going to believe watfords story. Cant really compare him to Frank de Boer, for example either.

I didn't want him at palace after his attitude after zaha scored early against hull, crossed his arms the whole match said nothing and looked like he couldn't wait to be leaving them
seemed only concerned about his next job

Silva came with the fearsome reputation of being unbeatable at home. Seems a long time ago now, but since we still have to play them at their's, it's all good.

We are better than Watford and we should be above them.

It is a regeneration of the managerial merry go round.

Out with the old (due to age) Roy, Sam, Pardew etc.. The new set of always employable managers now with Premier experience - Koeman, Silva, Puel etc..

And repeated now I suspect when he rocks up at Everton or Southampton.

With a pay off in the bank.

Evertons interest might have cooled somewhat now he has proven to not be the flavour of the month.

I think Watfords results and performances are all the evidence you need.

Pre and post Evertons undermining. Silva is seriously flakey.

TBF the wheels came off right at the point we undeservedly beat them. Nice for us to do that to another club for a change. Nice to do that to the muppet supporters of Watford.

If Watford stay shit and finish below us, he probably has better options but we should still try for Richarlison in the summer.

I guess the proof will come with how well (or badly) he does in his next job. Personally I think Watford will now drop lower than 10th and Silva will excel. But, each to their own. Let's see what happens.

He doesn't seem to have too much of a Plan B?

Be interesting to see how his next job goes. Certainly not bad but relatively inexperienced in the Premier League. Likes to attack and not worry about defending!

Look at their form. The league is very tight, in two games they could be in the bottom 3.

5 points out of the last 11 games (33 points) that is sacking form.

Look at the relegation predictions at the start of the season. Everyone had Watford and yet they're 10th despite a hatful of injuries. He also did a great job at Hull. The problem with Silva seems to be falling out with owners, players sometimes and the club in general. His ability is pretty unquestionable but he seems too temperamental. I'd have him here if Roy left though. I think he could get this team into the top 7.

this is a "don't mess with us message" from the Pozzos to any future managers, that if you be disloyal, not only will you not be allowed to go when you want, a new man will be lined up & you will be sacked later.

No one is bigger than the club

Respect to them.

Sure, they could've got compo from Everton, but what good would that be if they were left managerless with no one lined up, they were not to know they'd go on a shit run anyway.

"No bitch, you stay until it suits us & then we sack you"
