it takes an age to get back to the station as you are made to double back on yourself?, would allow 30mins to get back to the station and when you get there you are held in queues to avoid congestion at the station/platforms. |

given the amount of injuries West Ham have and the fact that we are playing really well at the moment we are expecting us to be 2 or 3 down by 75 mins so we will leave then. This should mean you'll get to the station just as the main bulk of the West Ham fans gets there

We spoke to a copper at the recent southampton game and he advised us not to leave until the final whistle had blown if we wanted to miss the crowds after the game.

Excuse me if this has already been asked, but Im planning on parking for tonight’s game. Do you just park in Westfield? I appreciate any advice given.

If the queues are so bad to get out, is there anywhere to have a beer after?

Apparently according to my WHU mates no after match drinking around the ground on a weeknight!
Pubs in Stratford only option I believe. |

Went in Builders Arms post match after completing a half marathon to get there!
A particularly grotty establishment I must say. |

Tried a different route there and back last night, West Croydon to Whitechaple on the Overground, Whitechaple to Bow on the District Line, short walk to Bow Church for the one stop on the DLR to Pudding Mill Lane, which seems to be much easier than the other routes I have tried to Stratford or Hackney Wick.
Around 90 minutes each way and the longest walk was from Pudding Mill to the stadium - but far less crowded than the other stations mentioned on previous visits.

After the match I went Pudding Lane - Canary wharf - Canada Water - west Croydon.... took roughly an hour including the walk to pudding mill lane (quite handy for the away end).
