Agreed. And I think it unlikely that collusion sticks to Trump, BUT Jared Kushner and Donald Jnr look like they might have come very close to that when that Russian diplomat offered them Hillary's/Podesta's/DNC's emails and they took a meeting in Trump tower. And now I think about it, didn't Steve Bannon say, and I paraphrase, that he was certain Trump would have gone to that meeting. I'm sure we'll hear more about all of that in future, especially if the majorities flip in November.

I am sure that he believes everything he says or tweets, even things he makes up. We are not dealing with a rational person here.

America got tired of weak liberal progressive virtue signallers. They elected a bombastic ‘non politician’ who is above cheap politics for a reason and he is going from strength to strength which the left hate.

Has Trump succeeded in his promises to create jobs and reduce unemployment in the neglected communities of the interior? If not, then what is point if him being in power? If yes, then the Democrats will have to explain better next time how they will represent those areas to win.

No he hasn't simply because it doesn't interest him. He only cares about the win. In that sense he is as deluded as Charlie Sheen WINNER!

I believe the unemployment figures are at record lows since the 08 recession but I'm not sure the people he most promised to help have been the biggest beneficiaries. While the coasts and the western areas have been growing, the old rust belt in the East, from Mississippi up to Lake Eerie are still really struggling. And of course Trump's impending trade war threatens his base more than the big coastal economies.

None of it is a surprise, the economy grew very nicely under Obama, but the old industrial industries were in decline. Trump has failed to change that. It'll be interesting what changes the tax bill will bring to the table, but case studies like the changes in the tax law in Kansas have shown 'trickle down' politics don't work and yet again it'll be his base that'll suffer due to rising inequality.

The strange thing is that the answer is yes, but that it may not matter. If it were only about jobs he'd be reelected in a landslide. (Though wages have been suppresed for decades, but that's another story).

He's so very easy to hate. And the left hates him for most of the right reasons but ignores what he has done right.

Oh and most of the right hates him too.

He's so self-involved that he supercedes party, yet is strangely bound by one to which he probably shouldn't belong. It's pure opportunism by him.

As an earlier poster noted, he was so outside the norm (which has sufficiently fecked things) that he was better than any alternative to more of it.

Trickle down is great in theory but as like so many economic theories it mystifyingly neglects to account for the given of how incredibly cheap those controlling the purses can be.

His tweets are for everyone, especially the people who voted against him. He would love to be the figure who could ride in a parade in an open top car while record numbers blow kisses and throw their panties at him

The things he has done right, which is actually none, are not due to him, but to previous administrations, i.e. Employment increase, stock market boom. Now the stock market is volatile and very risky and there will be repercussions in the job market
