I think you need to look at the plan again much of the lower tier is general admission in the plan.

I won't bother getting into it about how far we have to travel. It's a pointless conversation about where we have chosen to live and irrelevant.

I think you'll find that its heavily corporate and will be more expensive than anywhere else, but unfortunately only time will tell.

I doubt you would see it that way if you had to make the choice of paying toward an acoustic disaster and it taking up your weekend or watching on tv, but rest assured after 49 years ill still find ways to get down and in that dont involve paying directly towards it.

The best grounds in this country are in my opinion the ones that evolve rather than are purpose built. I like the idea that the lower tier is essentially the same seat pitches of the current capacity. I cannot really see how else the club can do this with keeping the stand open. I assume that wouldn't be possible with any other design.

I appreciate the reservation over the sanitisation of football. However i also think there is a tendency to ignore the positives that have come from that as well.

The sanitation of football. I like that phrase.

Personally if not CPP, and if not a 3 stand rebuild of Selhurst, then surely the obvious way was to rebuild the Whitehorse first with a huge steep stand up and over Sainsburys roof. Then knock down the main stand and build a steep stand there too. Then do the same with the Arthur. To me we have chosen the worst of all possible ways, and if we get relegated it will be a horrible empty corporate less mess. If we must have corporate crap put it up at the top where it can't affect the atmosphere. However I look at all this through the eyes of a fan rather than a businessman. They will put acoustics a long long way down the list after profit won't they.

Anyway each to their own. No disrespect at all, but I don't give a feck what you think People stop going for all sorts of reasons. Look at how many would have stopped if moved from their seats in the Holmesdale.

The monthly payments are not based on the early bird price, but on the next set of numbers

I got it as well and definitely never signed up for auto renewal. If you logon to the tickets website, look at your profile and then schemes it says whether you are signed up or not. In my case (and my kids) we are not signed up and we all got the email (including the kids). Such a fantastic well oiled smooth machine is Palace

OMG the people I go with aren't renewing due to work. May move to AW as I have other friends there.

Is it as squalid as they say. Will I still be able to get a tea and pie. Does the corrugated let the rain in. Will I have the sun in my eyes. As a mover will I have to sit behind a stanchion. Will I need to bring wellies' for the bogs.

Are people always this tetchy?!

Why assume it's sharp practice - cock-up or conspiracy? cock-up 99/100 times

I got the same email and I assumed the price will be the same as the early bird price, just that they are taking the money a bit later.

Here's what the email actually said; judge for yourselves:-

"Dear Season Ticket Holder,

Due to some technical difficulties your payment for your Auto Renew 18/19 season ticket will be delayed until the 27th March and not the 19th March as stated in the Season Ticket information, which you can find by clicking here

All Season Ticket holders who have applied for the Auto Renew, will be sent a letter in the next 2 to 3 days confirming the amount to be taken, seat details and date of the payment.

When you have received the letter please check your details carefully. If there is any incorrect information please contact the box office as instructed on the letter immediately.

Kind regards

The Box Office"

What do you not get that I did not ask for it and the club do not have the right to hold onto my debit card details, I donít want the risk of them heing hacked as clearly our IT isctop notch. I intend to pay with a credit card this year as it is now illegal for the club to put a surcharge on their use. And thanks I can read sentences and joined up writing.

1. Yes
2. No, unless you want to miss 10 minutes of each half
3. You're worried about getting wet? See 6. below.
4. Only when the sun shines
5. Probably, or next to Selhurst (lesser of?)
6. You won't get near the bog but you can use the wellies to p1ss in.

Hope this helps.

If you (and anybody else) didn't request it, just tell the club; I just don't understand the need to use it as an excuse to bash the club.

Are you SP? Listen sunshine I DIDN'T AUTHORISE IT and you can go and feck yourself sideways if you think it is ok for the club to hang onto details of your debit card. I shouldn't need to waste my time telling them anything. However, when I ask them to keep my credit card details for buying away and cup tickets and tick the appropriate box THEY CAN'T GET THAT RIGHT. I assume you work there???

1. No I'm not SP.
2. It doesn't bother me if you authorised it or not.
3. No, I don't see the need to get personally abusive.
4. I understand the issue about keeping cards on record; mine haven't been kept online with the club for a number of years.
5. No I don't work for the club

Night, night.

Does anyone know whether my 18 year son will qualify for concessionary prices because he’s off to Uni this year as a full time student? I can’t find anything on the website about student prices and it’s going to be quite expensive buying a full price season ticket for a handful of games.
