Dear Tom,

Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately FC Metz have not given us an allocation of tickets to sell for this game as of yet, it appears online they are only selling tickets to home fans.

If we do receive an allocation or any other means for our fans to buy tickets for this game, we will get this information announced on our official club website.

Kind regards

Sam C

Cheers Dorking.

Guess the Club are going to have a fair few claims for compensation if tickets do not go on sale. It was quite clear originally that ticket details would follow...........

If Metz gave the impression they'd be tickets and then haven't. Can't we make a point and withdraw from the fixture and play something more local?

Why is it the clubs fault if Metz decide they don't want away fans??

It's hardly the clubs fault if people paid for travel before having a ticket in hand is it?

Really?
The club announced on 11/7 a pre season friendly. Ticket information to follow.
Or should we just take it as one of those
"The cheque is in the post"
"I promise I won't c.. in your mouth"

Not in the slightest; frustrated, yes, knicker-wetting, no.

I think the response from CPFC has been pathetic:-

- 11th July - "Ticket information will be announced shortly".

Fans rush to book flights etc., based on the above.

- 12th July to 21st July - nothing from CPFC.

- 22nd July - email from Sam C in the BO to a fan who posts it on HOL, including "If we do receive an allocation or any other means for our fans to buy tickets for this game, we will get this information announced on our official club website."

The match is on Sat 29th July.

Do the fans matter? No, we don't pay the players wages, effectively the TV revenue does that, but yes, we're the ones who make the noise in the stadiums and make the product attractive for the TV.

For all the praise on CPFC for certain dealings, how can CPFC act is such an amateur way? With this as one (of many) examples of how fans are treated, CPFC shows itself to be Conference league level, once again.
