Last night moreso. More than half of Baxter's goals have come because he is their set piece taker. He has scored 3 free kicks and 2 penalties and tapped in the rebound from a 3rd. Most (although not all) of those goals we have others who have scored, Murray has been good from the spot, Moritz has 2 free kicks and i think Garvan 1.

However i would not be surprised if Baxter's wag demands are a fair bit higher than Easter is paid. I agree we need more depth and shudder when we play Jermaine but i don't think on a 3 year deal (which is what he effectove has now) he would have been great value for us. It is also doubtful he would have made the starting line up as often with Garvan usually a starter.

So there was a whoosh involved then was there with your "good job we didn't sign him" comment then?

Baxter is obviously a controversial character who could bring pros and cons to a club, and therefore will always divide opinion. Your comment could easily be taken either on face value or as a sarcastic one so not sure why you think it's a whoosh?
