Coltrane would be a solid LB.

Schluup would be a good signing for us.

Done a trawl and TBH the media/twitter seem dominated by references to Leicester picking him up.

Is he even a left back?

From NSC 10th July 2015 What a great signing for Palace, one of their best ever (if not the best). World-class player. Just shows once again how timing is everything and how financial fate can hinge on a key moment or two...one shit home play-off performance, Zaha wakes up after five months sleep-walking, Speroni finger-tip save onto the bar. That night changed the respective fortunes of the two clubs for a good few years, but we all suspected that even at the time. |

Hotly debated I think but he can provide an option there. He is still fairly young and so could be a good buy.

Reckon schlupp might turn up if so as he wants a move to play more and Brady would make that even less likley. Do Leicester actually have a space in their squad?

From the sounds of it, only when there are no other options. Whether he is any good there, I have no clue. But we need someone who can defend on the left.

Not quite a done deal then. I can't imagine snodgrass and brady.. unless brady will be our left back |

Brady is an attacking defender if that's possible, people seem to worry about his defensive skills. Should be OK though, he's so quick up the left side he could pass to himself. |

He would be effective playing left midfield (or even wing) if we get an attacking left back. Perfect cover on the overlap for the cross onto Benteke's noggin.

In the Brentford-Norwich game Sully Kaikai went past Brady so easily. Brady was possibly the most talented player on the day but as a midfield/winger not a full back.
Norwich supporters will be quite pleased to see him transferred. |

I think he plays left mid for Ireland, but can't be sure.

Personally, I would also bring in a young center half too. We have been crying out for a left full back for over a year, our defense was clearly short of back up, and we were short on the wings once it was obvious Bolasie wanted out. Last edited by NickinOx; 07-01-2017 at 02:35 AM. |

Unless we've no fit LB, then it's him. Otherwise he's left mid, far too good an attacker to leave at LB, probably our best ! Takes a very good set piece and peno !

Honestly never thought I'd see a CPFC win at Old Trafford in my Lifetime, I will always remember Manchester United 1-2 Crystal Palace on 30/11/11, not to mention Dazzas Goal :D :/: At last, a win in the League at OT 25/8/19 :D |

Could be played as a left wing back which I think would suit him perfectly. Would allow Palace to try a 3 at the back.

Going to Leicester. Think we will need to look elsewhere
