Plenty of offers on there way in this coming window, huge cock up by Parish this season means that if we're still looking like relegation candidates at Xmas then, regardless of Wilfs recent contract, the pressure will be well and truly on.

I'm sure that despite his love for the club the annual relegation battle with the weight always firmly on his shoulders will eventually take its toll.

The papers are at it again since when have Palace said that he is available or set a valuation for a player that they simply cannot afford to lose which is why they gave him an improved long term contract to show their intentions of keeping him.

Zaha is swiftly becoming my favourite player in nearly 50 years of watching Palace but If we go down we will be in no position to pay his wages and no way should he play in the championship. With the fee obtained we will build a good side to get us straight back .Hopefully.

With key players back Palace will be a different proposition and there are 27 games left not just a couple.

Left or right foot? £35 mill in today’s market hahahahahaha. One concern is Wilf wouldn’t have to move house. He’s here as long as we stay up & i think Roy will sort us out enough to do just that .

I found £35m laughable too, given that Stoke conned the dildo brothers out of £25m for Arnautavic.

Wilf will go in Jan if we are well adrift, otherwise no chance he will be off before the Summer. the fee will be well north of £50 mill.

I was told that when I met him many years ago, but that was before he had that bad experience of leaving Palace etc.

If we were relegated and he left, my guess is that Arsenal would be a front runner.

We lose him cheaply if we go down. Otherwise he''s going nowhere, because the North London clubs won't pay.

One of those north London clubs spent £35m on sisssoko from a relegated club.. we won’t sell for cheap when the day comes regardless of league

We never get the true value for our players...

If we're bottom in January then I think the board may be inclined to accept an offer of around £40m as relegation would slash the money we could receive greatly.

Have you ever known a relegated club get anything like £35m for a player, not going to happen.

We got pretty good value for Yannick. And Gayle. And even AJ.

The ones where we've sold short contain other circumstances, such as administration, lack of Premier League status, etc. Granted, if our PL status is all but gone by January, you'd have to say 40M would be more than fair.
