The thinning issue was true. Where Young used to head the ball so much it caused a weakness to his forehead. Not really sure how the little towelling thing he used would help that much but it became synonymous with the Ninja!

I think I didn't make myself clear... The injury as you say was from a previous injury. The headband was to stop him splitting it open again, mainly from heading the ball too much.
