I would rather forget about TP and move on, Managers come and go as do players, that's just get behind the team and the present manager.

TP will be even more of a hero at Stoke when Hughes crashes and burns, perhaps taking them down with him.

We were not at the point where we 'needed to move on'.

I wouldn't mind hearing a little more about those supposed bets on the morning of his departure.

We all remember that Thursday well. Disbelief turned into incredulity in a space of a few hours on here.

I can't get my head around it. Betting firms are not known for happily handing out large sums of money, and would investigate something dodgy. What was the nature/wording of the bet? - Pulis wasn't sacked? I'm ashamed that the FA aren't investigating. If it transpires that there were tip offs doesn't that amount to some kind of insider trading.

Very murky all round.

we needed another couple of years of TP to put us on a sure footing (excluding paying wankers like Crouch £60,000 a week)

The market is 'Next Premier League manager to leave post' so it covers all bases. I assume it's quite a regular occurrence considering there was a similar situation when Dougie left with him being odds on for the Bolton job.

They must know who precisely placed the bets.

No mention of Stoke's chief executive? No singing his praises as a 'proper person'? What a shock.

What ive been saying all along, him and Parish never got on from the start.

I really think after our great run of form Parish should have mellowed and let Pulis get on with it.

In the future I think this will be looked at as one of the biggest mistake in the clubs history.

Even to the detriment of the club?

How anyone can have any ill feeling towards Pulis is beyond me. He performed an absolute miracle last season - he deserves nothing but our thanks.
