Really terrific. A fantastic set list & superb performances. That was as well as I’ve seen them play in many a year. Bill Bruford introduced them & Trevor Horn guested at the end.
Alan White only played drums for the last section & looked very fraile. Get the feeling that Yes could be coming to an end. It will be interesting to see how AWR match up in the summer!

Thanks, JHC. White has looked unwell for some time. I'm not sure I could spend an evening listening to Downes destroy classics, and Howe bellowing at the audience though.

I like Geoff Downes (especially in Asia), but clearly he is no Rick Wakeman!
I can’t see Alan White touring again.
Steve Howe, as the longest member of the band, has had to become the front man!

How does Bill Bruford look? Wouldn't mind seeing him on the sticks again.

A week today and the wise among you will be contemplating your journey to the Iron Horse in Sidcup for Mattfest IV...
Times here:
Doors (opening, not a tribute band) 3.30pm
EMPEROR NORTON 4 - 4.45
PRIMITIVE INSTINCT 5 - 6.15
LIZZY LEGACY 6.45 - 8.00
TAMARISK 8.15 - 9.15
GALAHAD 9.45 - 11.15
This is a predominately progressive rock show, so the times are approximate!. We have a license till midnight, but want Galahad finished by 11.15 so that people can get their last trains from the station next door, if none of you are traveling by train, no issue!
See you there, much love Prog Sausage x

Seeing him next Thursday at the Palladium and next year again will be a definate.
Caught The Musical Box at the Anvil theatre Basingstoke on Friday and they were excellent as always. Annoyingly they are at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo the same night as Hackett plays in london next week but might catch them again at Brighton on the Friday?

I will be at the Palladium on Thursday too.
Really looking forward to it. Steve Hackett never disappoints.

Iím sure Iíll go next year. Selling England is one of my favourite top 5 albums of all time. November 2019 is a long time away though, especially for such an aging audience

I'd forgotten they were also touring.

So I'm now off to see Steve Hackett in Ipswich on Weds night, Bernard Cornwell talk about his new Uhtred/Saxon book on Thursday in Guildford and then on to Bath to see TMB on Saturday night.

I know TMB are at Br*ghton Theatre Royal on Friday night, but the cheapest tickets are £41 Bath Forum tickets start at £15 and go up in four bands. I saw them doing SEBTP there a couple of years ago and it's a good venue.

I think at the TMB gig in Basingstoke I was at the lower end of the age range at 52! I was worried that I would have to show proof of age at the bar what with my youthful looks Still nice to see TMB got a larger audience than Ross Noble the previous night!

Just booked for Brighton, doesn't look to be the greatest venue out but there were some cheaper seats in the gallery (looks like i'll need oxygen up there though!) at £23 although another £7 of charges on top of that for a print at home ticket is an absolute rip-off. Looking forwed to getting back to my Heathrow hotel at 02:30am on Saturday morning afterwards
