Interview? Not sure that's how football transfers work.

For sheer entertainment read the first few weeks of this thread.

'Better than Wilf and Bolasie - our best winger' among them.

I've come to the conclusion that these guys are just unbelieveably thick ...as they always were in days past. and their image and social media profile masks that.

I mean how difficult is it to mark someone who is constantly getting the ball (Schlupp on Saturday against Tadic), or if in trouble kick the ball to nearest place of safety, out to touch or the team mate directly behind you (what Lee didn't do against Burnley) or spend the week practising an effing pass so that you can give the ball to your mate not the bloody opposition (although tbf I remember we had a left back called Peter Wall who despite having the whole of the field to aim at, often punted the ball over the touch line, when he was by...the touchline)

Looking back at press articles he was apparently on 25k a week at Wolves.

May 2015:

Quote:
Wolves winger Bakary Sako has stunned Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion with his wage demands, which are threatening to wreck his hopes of a Premier League move. Sako is understood to be seeking over 50,000 a week plus a significant signing-on fee this summer and both Villa and Albion are cooling their interest in the free agent.
July 2015:

Quote:
In May it emerged that Sako's representatives were asking for around 50,000 to 60,000-a-week in wages on a new contact, a deal which would more than double his wages. News then followed that in fact Sako's agents were actually after a deal closer to 80,000-a-week.

Unsurprisingly from this point on things went quiet for Sako, his representatives clearly pricing him out of a move to most Premier League clubs who would have been otherwise interested.
Quote:
Tony Pulis is in the market for a winger and has returned his attention to Sako now the 27-year-old has toned down his wage demands. The Mali international is believed to have had exploratory talks with the Baggies. Albion considered Sako earlier in the summer but were priced out of a deal by the player’s inflated personal terms.

I can see why we offered him a good deal. He had an amazing season in the champ and was available in a free transfer. Unfortunately he has been rubbish.

That's not fair, he was good for the first two games until he found where the local Greggs was.

He has. His first few games were good for us.

I still have hope that with the right management, he can find the form and motivation he had in the championship.

If I remember correctly, this player wasn't even on Pardew's radar as a free transfer and Parish offered him up as a present. What kind of scouting is that?

i think he called him a 'con man'.
When you say on camera, I think you mean on Souare's mobile. I.e. Not in a media interview.
This was obviously before Bolasie left us and so must be well over a year, maybe two years ago.
No one (to my knowledge) knows what they were talking about. Could have been a game of cards, music, whatever. But would Souare have posted it if it was anything serious? Would he have posted it if it was about their contracts (as some have tried to say on here) I very much doubt it.

The CA references them being serious about their music at Palace and shows the video with that.
