If they did i would seriously like to see Palace consider looking at him taking over from Roy, eventhough i am a fan of his but the opportunity would to too good to miss out on. But none of this will happen.

He's been offered a new four year deal with the option to extend that for a further three years so they definitely see him as their man long term. He might've even signed it I'm not too sure.

We do need to find our manager long term now however.

Also a special mention must go to the other outstanding performer Ben Foster, even at age 37 he is outstanding proof that age is no barrier if the quality is there and turned out oh such a shrewd signing.
But in fairness and some on here may not want to read this, but after all the turmoil and changes at Watford they are now a well organised hardworking and hard to beat unit that the manager has built where every player knows his role.
Ben Foster is a bloody quality goalkeeper. Always rated him very highly!

Agree 100% Latvian like yourself i have also rated him highly for years, also fair play to Watford in recognising his quality by paying 8m for a 37yr old keeper. and are now benefiting as we learnt the hard way by his performance yesterday.

I thought they signed him on a free.

Turns out though they paid about £2.8m for him, so we were both wrong.
