Yeah okay, we're not in the stone age anymore. Fact is the late 90's and early 2000's at Selhurst were Amex-esque.

So your point of reference is 10 years out of nearly 100 at Selhurst Park? F*cking kids!

Unequivocal evidence right there fella. Anyway a great result yesterday by what I think was a palace team still not at its best. |

I'm really not sure there actually is any contact. It looks like like there might be contact and he falls as if there was contact but as the commentator said you really don't see it from any angle... in the pic you posted if there is any contact it's actually hiding behind schurle's foot out of shot.

SJ bringing Smith back soured things and we had some of the most dire football of my life under Francis. AWM started in 2003 (I think) as an effort to get things going again before the HF started in 2005, but this is a pretty short time frame we're talking about. |

That is not unequivocal evidence at all. Yes it's possible there may have been contact but that picture doesn't prove there was whatsoever, and the other angles they showed didn't shoe any contact. Not only that but you could tell by Fulham's reaction that they weren't convinced either, otherwise they'd be making a big deal about it.

Shurrle also has a bit of history for diving

Guys to me it looks like Sakho's foot is touching the back of Schurrle's foot.... We'll just have to agree to disagree. We've had enough calls go against us so it's a case of swings and roundabouts really.. Schurrle exaggerated the contact and the call went against him. Fair enough.

Don't remember that. Seemed good at the time.

I fear that Selhurst atmosphere might tail off without the ongoing assistance of the HF group

Dean's view is the most important and it's one the cameras can't pick up. He's at exactly the right angle to see a gap. There's also a bit of turf up where Sakho's foot went in, so I reckon it stopped right there before contact. Also if there was any meaningful contact, Schurrle's foot would've been moved by the contact given the speed and momentum that Sakho was going. Too much doubt to be given, but I thought it was at the time.

Nope, you can clearly see in that picture that Schurrle doesn’t play for a big club. No pen!
