MOTM for me. Not even annoyed about the red card. Did amazing to be anywhere near Salah whose pace is frightening when he's released.

That was very poor to send him off the ball was moving away and it was the slightest of touches. Foul yes yellow yes but red?????

The boy's the real deal. It was another outstanding performance both defensively and going forward. The timing of his tackling is impeccable (the sending off aside obviously) and I just hope Southgate doesn't hold the red card against him as there wasn't a lot he could do in that situation, and as others have said Salah had lost control of the ball so it wasn't necessarily a goal-scoring opportunity.
However given how good he's been I feel it's not too harsh to be slightly critical of him and I think he does sometimes keep the ball too long when there's passing options and he lost the ball a few times tonight doing so. That said he recovers so well when he does lose the ball that it's not a major issue. |

Poor reffing as a yellow could have been sufficient on such an inexperienced young player, after all Kenedy and Fred's kick out at players this weekend were totally overlooked.

Think the ovation he got as he walked off would have told him a lot about what the fans think of him.
One bit of the match he lost the ball in their half... Ran back and got a tackle in the box. This kid is special.

Having watched the slow replay, Salah just played the ball with his left boot, just before the challenge, which was going away from goal and into Hennessy's hands and AWB just clipped him accidentally in his momentum. Harsh.

Regardless of whether it was a red card or not, Wilf aside I haven't raved about one our academy graduates this much for a long, long time. I honestly believe at this stage of his career he is better than Clyne was. We tend to get carried away and he has some things to work on (tends to hold onto the ball for too long and occasional positional errors) but no doubt in my mind he can reach the very top of the game (hopefully with us) Would usually hate one of our youngsters to go anywhere near the England squad but genuinely hope Southgate gives him the nod.

Why is he considering becoming manager of Brazil, Egypt or Senegal?
Because other than the young fullback that’s it because he certainly wouldn’t be looking at Milner |

So glad to have him at the club. Top talent and seemingly a top lad. Other than getting a bit too casual, he otherwise wowed numerous times in the match.
