Arthur Wait bar closed at HT, unbelievably because they couldn't sell food. We just asked them to sell the beers we could see through the gaps in the shutter but they wouldn't.
Complete and utter shambles. But it's what we have come to expect....Morons. |

Was the worst I've seen it in the Arthur. Seriously how hard is it to stock a few kiosks? Numbers in are always the same, should have decent figuires on how much food and drink they sell per home game and stock accordingly! It's not like the numbers have dramatically increased!

Lost revenue for the club, and may impact future sales, as people eat outside the ground

To close it cos there was no food is a joke. 2 months to get the basics right and we still cant do it - night game = more food needed surely.

Made a mistake and forgot butter one time at sainsbury's, yes. Forgotten that there are thousands of people coming to the opening match of the season and might want to eat is a pretty monumental cock up.

It was poor last night. In the Main Stand before the game, my son asked for a Chicken Burger. Whilst standing at the food bar under pictures of burgers, the girl serving looked at me like I was mad and said "We don't sell burgers here". They had a single portion of chicken goujons (!!) available and that was 30 minutes before kick off.
My daughter then went to three places at half time looking for a hot dog. One of them only had vegetable pies, the other two had no hot food at all. The last one (in the Wright & Bright lounge) only had packets of skittles on offer! It was like they had forgotten the season had started. |

I hear there's a club on the south coast that have an award winning concourse.

It would be simplest if they just closed down all catering at the ground. We would know where we stood and eat and drink outside before coming in. They should allow us to bring food in. The club clearly behaves as though it does not care about these things or is incapable of running a catering operation and clearly does not seem to need the money. They would also save on all the staff costs.

Went to buy a beer from the LH.
All were warm, the fridges were broken, the woman serving me said they have been broken for ages and they’ve asked for them to be fixed. Not sure how after a whole summer you can’t have a working fridge?

First game of the season is always a bit dodgy.
You'll get over it, just move on. |

It’s not like it’s the first game of a new stand. It’s a fridge for beer, if they can’t get it working after a summer it’s worrying. Also the constant poor service and the inability to find a way to serve customers in a timely manner.
