Also plays club cricket regularly......for Norwood Exiles iirc.
My 17 year old nephew has only taken three wickets in his life.........Steel twice. Known as Bunny Steel in our house.

Obviously not an article to read if you're planning on going to his show, but the other month the Guardian had a piece To view the link you have to Register or Login that detailed his search for his natural parents, is pretty interesting stuff - no wonder he based a routine on it.

Such inconsistent policy from the executive.
Steel is not allowed to vote but Corbyn is? |

He's some bloody awful left-wing 'comedian' who does crap on radio 4 because TV won't have him. He speaks with a stupid lego-cockney accent too, that only a middle-class pillock would use.

Can't argue with that. He is not funny.

I don't really care about his poltical leanings either way but if you are referring to Steel he was very, very funny at the comedy gig last summer at Fairfield Halls.
The bit about waking his wife up in shock because Palace were now 14th in the table in the championship was quality. It's a bit sad people would dislike a comedian solely based on their political stance but ho hum. |

To people who don't know him, he is actually funnier than that.

I can't understand how anyone would not find him funny tbh. Great timing, an excellent story teller, great range of regional accent impersonation, and a cutting sense of humour. Still, takes all sorts i guess

What 'crap' of his have you listened to on Radio 4 then? Is it only crap because of his politics? Maybe a Bradford edition of 'Bernard Manning's in Town' might be more up your street.
