Maybe we should be counting down to 165 goals...

Watching the Burnley highlights I noticed a that there's been a big change from last season to now in the power behind Wilf's shots.
Last season they were a bit limp (see his goal at the Amex), sometimes miss-hit. His second at Wolves and the two on Saturnday were hit hard, which certainly helped with the second on Saturday as it went through the keeper's legs before he knew about it. He's also reduced the amount of trickery in front of goal - both goals at Wolves showed a lot of skill, but only one little trick before getting the shot in. Against Burnley his first was a run straight at goal (whereas I think he might have slowed up and tried to beat the defender with a step over last season), and his second was just a step inside and a quick hit catching the keeper out. If he keeps fixing the little deficiencies in his game at this rate he will be a world class player very very soon. |

Could just be an increase in confidence and maturity as well as their being increased responsbility on him actually scoring. His goal against Watford last season certainly wasnt limp Whatever it is, long may it continue, for Palace!!!

Sure it's more than that. Have cup goals been included?

Keep playing like he did today and he'll smash the 100 by Christmas.

Looking up stats on the notoriously unreliable Wikipedia
Wilf played 143 games scoring 18 goals before his Manchester sabbatical Yannick played 144 times for us, 13 goals. Wilf's return has seen an additional 9 goals from 82 appearances |

I was told that he was pony. This was only 2 weeks ago. This is so confusing.
