At the moment the game is 100% on, a few of us are meeting at Westow House at 12 for a few beers, Its only a few minutes from there, Kick Off at 2pm, Admission is free, Palace are massive underdogs, but we are used to that, See you at the Pub or the CPNSC

Fair play to those who turned up... I could hear you almost half a mile away with the windows closed.
I didn't know anything about this. When I heard Palace songs I wondered what the hell was going on. In my mind it was either:
a) a last minute unannounced friendly played at the NSC.
b) someone nearby who for some reason has a collection of Palace songs and plays them back in the comfort of his own home.
c) (God forbid) some sort of HF singing practice session.
d) my imagination.

I wandered over to the NSC and caught the last 10 minutes... that was a fair racket from so few of you!

Great day , and the HF support was excellent, around 250 there with 30/40 HF present who did not stop singing for the 90 minutes, we met at Westow House, yet again around 40 Palace in there. Palace were the better team and could have scored more, Derby are in the Premier League so it shows how good are Girls are, Through to the 4th round, which is Pompey at Home, There will be a lot more support down there for that game

They played well and the second goal was a bullet. Well done to the HF for the noise aswell.

Its a really fantastic achievement; I coach within the club in the junior ranks and it speaks volumes on how far the club has come in the last few years. Hopefully its just the start...

I think that my wife's niece, Abi, plays in one of your sides, at youth level. She's a bloody good player. Think they are off on a tour to Holland soon?

Seems like we are building a totally holistic club inclusive of all elements. Have to say its great.

I don't know what has created this, maybe the second administration and the formation of the HF who do dictate the vocal pace of each game. It's a huge change as we all have to admit Selhurst atmospheres in the old days, big games aside, were generally pretty awful.

We'll be starting basketball teams next a la Barca !!

Bodes well for the future.

It's a real shame the club isn't funding this. Well done, always good to see Palace doing well in anything

Great result and well done to them. From what I've heard they have been doing well this season and hopefully that can carry on. It's unlikely but I will try and go to the next round match.

What a great game of football that was, the women played fantastic from start to finish.
They actually have a really good squad of players and played some really good football.

The striker probably put one of the best hold up displays I've seen and honestly hand on heart I'm not joking about that either. The two wingers were quite decent, think one of them was Jade Davenport who picked up an injury late into the second half and had to be replaced. The Centre Midfielder who got the two goals has one hell of a shot on her, the second goal was an absolute screamer.

Great noise from the Palace faithful there too. Saw a group of lads gathered at the back of one of the side stands chanting all through the game, which picked up the players in the second half.

Great ending to the game with fans and the players families on the side of the pitch singing We Love You as the players, management and club staff coming over to thank everyone for the support.

Hopefully for Pompey we can bring a load of fans down and spur them on to victory again, just imagine 3000 odd Palace fans enjoying a Sunday afternoon football at Palace Park watching the Palace!

Davenports Red and Blue Army!

A great day for the football club.

I watched the first half before heading to the Dome for a game with my Under 11's and I felt confident they would go on and win. Derby were comfortable building from the back and playing in their defensive third, but as soon as they looked to progress into the middle & attacking third, Dean had the girls drilled perfectly to press in the right areas.

For the club in general, this is a massive result. We have over 230 players within the club (From Under 9 through to the First team) with multiple teams in a majority of the age groups.

Any support we get is greatly appreciated; Richard & John (Chairman & Vice Chairman) have done a tremendous job rebuilding the club from pretty much scratch and its only going to get better with results like this for our flagship team.

Hopefully we can get another great turnout for the Pompey game; you can just imagine how the players felt seeing and hearing the support today; it gives them that extra 10% of energy and helps so much.

Regardless of how much support we get from the main club, we represent Palace with the same dignity and class as the everyone on the men's side. And we all do it because we care for the club and the players that represent it. Palace & Proud

It was very good to hear how passionate all the club management were about the club. I must admit I didn't hear much about the ladies club until the radio interview (think it was Palace radio?) but the work the volunteers put into the running the sides really should be championed more. I think its wonderful set up and should get more support then it does.

I think it must of been John who told a few fans after the game about all the volunteers saying what a great appointment it was to put Dean Davenport in charge who is a massive Palace fan, he also spoke highly of many others involved with the club.
There is even one volunteer who used to play at St.Etienne and PSG, furthermore he has even played in the same side as Platinni!
