What's hapenning with the league at present? The table on the FA.com has Palace with a full 7 games in hand! Only 11 points off the top, which is a great position, but some major fixture conjestion to come, no?

Anyone else going to the Arena on Sunday to watch the ladies?
Its free entry to get in, in case anyone is wondering. And you never know the romance of the cup we could be a step closer to the final and a day out at a new ground as the final is at MK Dons. |

Couple of players picked up injuries recently but I think they are looking at making 1 or 2 additions to the squad to fill the void while they're out. The manager Dean Davenport is Palace through and through and with him in charge I think the first team will continue to get rise through the leagues and also with near enough every youth age group top or doing well in their respective leagues the future is looking very bright! Hopefully with fans attending the cup games or league games when fans can't get to the mens away games we can get the ladies more under the wing of Crystal Palace, as it should be in my opinion but unfortunately, as mentioned previously in this thread, they don't recieve funding from the club. |

It would be nice if CPFC could help out a bit more, but at the same time it is a fantastic achievement that this is a club born out of our community, and helped to flourish by the hard work of dedicated volunteers. I can't make Sunday, but will be thinking of the girls come 2pm.

I'll be there on Sunday. It's extremely important to show the ladies academy is backed by the fans as it is a vital source of sport for young ladies in the local area, the more support it gets the closer they will hopefully get to obtaining much needed funding from the club. Plus the atmosphere was great in the last round. Playing in front of a crowd with some atmosphere rolling off of the stand really motivated the players

If Palace can get through today, they could face some of the bigger Premier League sides like Arsenal and Everton which would be a massive test for the squad to pitch themselves up against.
Looking forward to this, lets hope the girls can get through! |

Palace Ladies 2 Pompey Ladies 3.
Good effort from the Palace girls to fight back from 3-0 down at half-time against a Portsmouth side that was probably a yard or two quicker on the ball. Very proud of the Palace girls who did not give in and I think everyone had an entertaining afternoon in the sun at Croydon Arena. Penalty and and good header put the Palacettes right back in it.
