From NSC 10th July 2015 What a great signing for Palace, one of their best ever (if not the best). World-class player. Just shows once again how timing is everything and how financial fate can hinge on a key moment or two...one shit home play-off performance, Zaha wakes up after five months sleep-walking, Speroni finger-tip save onto the bar. That night changed the respective fortunes of the two clubs for a good few years, but we all suspected that even at the time. |

Was excellent today. Huge positive for us and definite starter next week.

Will prove his worth against lesser teams. Needs to be given the ball more. Would link up with muzzy well

Just checked the stats, and the number you were looking for was apparently 39. Often considered to be more than 10.

I think he did alright, is certainly a presence up top. Only 22 as well, needs games up top regularly to get on the others players' wavelengths and visa versa

Thought he was isolated at times, the midfield player couldn't get up to him quick enough. |

I thought we should have subbed him in second half. Didn't offer any challenge to arsenals defence IMO.

Won almost everything in the air, held the ball up well and worked his arse off closing down. Maybe you could say he should've done better with the chance he hit the post from but that would be hyper-critical. Over all I'd say a very promising display.

Based on what someone else was doing on that age is absolutely no reflection on where they will be in 5-10 years time! Completely different players too.

Didnt win nearly as much in the air as Id expect Murray to have done, but seems to have good hold up and link up play. Shame he hit the woodwork today.

Had people in Block E behind me criticising him from the start. Still made a change from moaning at Puncheon which he spent last season doing.

(Both of which you, as a professional football scout, would surely agree with.)

Showed promise. Was blowing out of his arse at the end. Needs to up the fitness and with a bit more sharpness that chance will end up in the net.
