& Mutch was at QPR for 6 months - he chose them over us in the summer, which Moody would've have put the work in for, being one of his old favourites from his Cardiff days. So there wasn't much to do when his agent made us aware of his availability in the Jan window...thanks to Moody.

It seems nowadays the club simply do not know how to hold a good old fashioned grudge.
Could you imagine Jordan having someone like The Doug anywhere near the club after Bolton?? I'm sure Jordan would have brought Dowie back for a bit of guidance....NOT!! Different era. |

Oh goody another thread for the usual suspects to wet their pants about and claim the moral high ground. Whilst digging out the football club and owners that they claim to support.
Bored beyond belief. |

Campbell, Mutch and Moody were at Cardiff together and good luck if you rate Campbell ,never A Premier league player. Absolute proof that we need to raise the bar on transfer dealings! |

A player whose great potential was cut short because of two bad injuries. Considering we have no fit strikers it is shame we got rid of him. |

I have a few natural, personal, ethical rules on how I conduct my life and business. And most people I know follow these simple rules naturally as well. I know that football is a dirty business by definition and it is a joke to call it a beautiful game. But this is MY/OUR Crystal Palace and toads like this shouldnt be anywhere near.

We would have appreciated Campbell these last couple of months, he never stopped trying and scored some valuable goals the one last season at hull springs to mind |

I don't mean to make this into a finger pointing exercise, but it does raise further questions about Parish's judgement.
There is no justification for sacking someone for gross misconduct, and then to employ them again as a consultant without any announcement. Yes, there are those that will argue that Moody deserves a second chance. But this wasn't 'locker room banter'. It was extreme racist and sexist language that has no place in the game. By welcoming him back into the club as a paid member of staff, it really does muddy the club's reputation. |

He scored 5 league goals in 3 seasons. 4 of them being in his 1st season. When Wickham & Bolasie were injured after Xmas in 2015/16, he came in & offered absolutely nothing - he didn't score a goal. To the point where we brought in Adebayor who hadn't played in nearly 2 years - so what on earth makes you think he would've helped us in our current predicament? Just the fact he ran about a lot? That makes up for the fact he had no physical presence, couldn't hold a ball up & his finishing was largely abysmal? No. He was & still is shite. Championship is his standard.

[QUOTE=Nth Kent Eagle;13943553]Crikey, what with Dougie and Moody can we expect a return for George Burley anytime soon?[/QUOTE
Much more likely is Malky Mackay. |
