I'm nowhere near saying he should in fact I couldn't care less if he left.

If he does actually want to play football then I well believe he's gutted to still be here. Has basically wasted three years out of a 15 year career with us.

Not really. He should behave like the highly paid professional he is, and shut the f*ck up. Show a little respect for the club and it's supporters. If Mutch had said it, everyone here would have gone apeshit.

Less chance of any back passes there too

In a sort of Football Manager computer game way, I always imagined he'd do well as a floating no. 10, popping up in the pockets and slipping cheeky through balls to the striker.
He certainly has the vision and technique. It's a shame how it's gone, though I'm fond of him, even the Burnley fiasco was funny; talk about a defence splitting pass!

Yep, he made a right hamish of that back pass.

Not his fault. He has a right to feel hard done by, and none of his comment are abusive nor untrue.
He was signed because he was relatively cheap, and it back fired. There's been nothing remotely surprising about his way of playing and physical attributes, it was all there to see before CPFC signed him. Added to this, he's had fewer chances to play than Mutch, which isn't fair is it. The club was a poor fit for him too, it's just unfortunate. |

Where we going to stick him ? Upfront, midfield , defence , or reserve goalie ?

Has not really performed when given the chance. That said, has never really had a decent run in the side and has had to play in a number of different roles. The fact that our other midfielders are also lacking in physicality really doesn't help his cause.

Mutch would have only got half way through the sentence before losing interest and wandering off.

Maybe Roy can get a tune out of Chungy, strictly no back passes tho.

That goal against Stoke could have been the springboard for his Palace career but he missed the next game to be with his wife who was having a baby and was never able to push his way in to the team.

Championship player but if the Palace brass had done their jobs in January properly he'd be in Bolton by now

He runs around a lot and looks like he's doing things which seems to be a highly sort after quality by many supporters but the realty is that all that spent energy doesn't seem to produce a whole lot of substance. He also gets pushed off the ball with relative ease and his defensive contributions are highly suspect.

I think if he had another player that interacted with the same kind of pass and move that he tries, he would've been a lot more effective. If they were'n't such a scummy team, I'd say he'd suit the way Bournemouth play. Should have been given a chance when Pardew was still here playing 4231 as a number 10 (as SE5 said earlier).
