Was great to get one more chance to see Chungy bottle out of a tackle, just like the good old days.
Seriously why not just bring Jules on for the last 5 mins instead? |

Maybe the club expect Jules to sign on for another year.

When players are knocked off the ball so easily or are wimping out of 50/50s, I always think back to Michael Hughes. 5’5” and 10st when wet but no one ****ed with him. There’s a number of players all over the world who aren’t the biggest but don’t get knocked around like Lee does.

He would be crazy to stay to get 5 minutes here and there. Surly he could get a similar salary and elsewhere and enjoy playing every week?

He should be given more game time by Roy but he wont even give Jairo any oxygen. Cant blame roy for sticking to the same solid "team" last 8 matches. It worked.

Never a PL player. Thanks for Stoke though

Never worked hard enough and horribly one-paced. Lightweight in the tackle. Technically not bad but was still playing walking pace when we were 1-0 v lower league oppo in league cup when we needed to up the tempo

Roy brought him on for a couple of games recently where we were winning comfortably and therefore was no real risk.
But what I think he was really doing was sending yet another message to the board that our bench is weak. |

If Roy wants to keep him that’s fine by me. Personally though I don’t think he is Premier League standard. He played very well against Shrewsbury in the League Cup playing centrally but they are League 1.

His transfer to us was a strange one at the time, I’m sure we didn’t need another wide midfielder, we needed more defenders. He came for a low transfer fee and it hasn’t worked out for him or us.
A great moment at Stoke, but the Burnley game sealed his fate at Palace. We need to replace the likes of chungy & Mutch etc. if we are to progress as a PL club. |

World class on his day. Disgracefully under used.

Roy has praised him but from the games I have seen him play since joining the club there has not been any progression. Enthusiasm is not enough. Time to go.
