He played k and was good to see a youth player come through but why didn't he clear that ball??

FFS it was his debut, he did extremely well against a top 4 team with some of the most talented players in the Prem. He gave the ball away a few times, like all our players did, but more often than not he won it back or cleared it. He did clear it at the end, but for some reason the linesman over the other side of the pitch decided it had gone out of play first. Please try supporting our young players and certainly not try and blame them for our defeat.

It was good and sensible performance for a young player making his debut against top class opposition but it would be wrong to get carried away at this point.
If I was to try to make fair comparison it would be better than KaiKai's early appearances but not as good as Clyne. But neither of those were against a rampant Spurs team. I would have to add that I don't think anything much can be extrapolated from this odd match which is far from typical. If we play another like that next week I will be disappointed but Roy has few options as we understand it. So very encouraging start,

He acquitted himself well in difficult circumstances.

Showed enough to deserve further run outs with the first team. I liked his composure and positional sense. The distribution can be worked on but well done to him for acquitting himself in quite a challenging situation for a debut.

Decent debut and hopefully reminded Roy that the youngsters can do a job in the short term. Would Kirby who has been playing regularly have been worse than lee yesterday I doubt it

I had two warm Carlsberg's pre-match but I probably could've done a job.

Wan-Bissaka's debut & the fact that I didn't see a single Spurs fan all day were my only highlights from Sunday.

My highlights from Sunday were renouncing the devil (with fingers crossed) and turning away from sin (with everything crossed) to become a godfather.

Well done mate. I've got loads of Godchildren. Your role entitles you to bring them to Selhurst when they are older (if you don't like them).

It's either Palace with me, or Watford/Luton as their local team. I think I'd be doing them a favour bringing them to Palace. I've already established "When I was a young boy, my Godfather said to me....." as our song.
