Fifty Years Supporting Palace.
Just realised that yesterday marked the fiftieth year since I first walked down onto the Holmesdale and stood to watch Palace play for the first time ever.
We beat Huddersfield 2-1 IIRC. Other than 1989, I can’t remember being so excited for a coming season.

Me too. My '69 promotion pennant is hanging in the gym. It always bugged me that the lettering was cut off by the stitching.

Congratulations Blind. This years season ticket will take me to my fortieth anniversary (a draw with Cambridge, 10 Apr 1979).

My first match was against Huddersfield too but a couple of seasons later. Remember it being so foggy that I couldn't see the Holmesdale goal from The Whitehorse whilst perched on my dad's shoulders.

Into my 52nd year.
First game was Bolton at home in Sept 1966. Won 3-2. Thinking this is the best team/squad we've ever had. Thanks Dad !

45 for me this year - a real young whippersnapper! Also, hoping we are entering a new golden age.

Only 47 for me. 2-0 v Everton May 1971 was my first proper game, I think. I'd been following events for at least a couple of years before that but it wasn't easy to get a decent stream in those days.

49 for me. Quite a few glory hunters its seems. Palace v Man. Utd, first ever game in the top league.
Proves we shouldn't knock the JCL that have only started "because we are in the top flight". Many of us have hardly missed a home match since!
